Serana POV.

I knew something was wrong when I was flying back home. Something in my gut was off and it wasn’t that I just found out from the goddess Rhiannon that I am pregnant.

I couldn’t believe my eyes as I saw Vilkas trying to calm a smaller black dragon. The moment my eyes locked on its red ones. I knew who it was and why this happened. So here I am, sat, crossed legged in the middle of a challenge circle as Pascha circles me.

I close my eyes and breathe deeply, listening to her steps. She wants me to play her game, well I refuse. So here I am, sitting on my naked ass in the grass, waiting for her to strike.

“Serana, get up and fight!” Vilkas shouts, but I ignore him as growls surround me and they are all directed at Pascha. I remain calm as I open my eyes to see her in her wolf form snarling at me. Stipple flies as she snaps her jaws, digging her paws in the earth, her ears flat against her head. I look at her and I don’t even move as she charges towards me.

Lara screams and the
