XENDAYA. I bite my lip as her fingers ghost down my thighs, admiration in her eyes as she licks her lips hungrily. “You are beautiful, My Queen,” she whispers, as she tugs at the delicate chain around my waist. She leans forward, her bare boobs grazing against my thighs as she runs her tongue along my stomach where the chain sits, making me bite my lips, pleasure rushing through me. “As are you…” I manage to murmur. Reaching up, I brush a strand of her silky hair back. She blushes lightly before her eyes darken as she looks at my breasts, taking my hand and pulling me up gently, she kisses my palm and then my wrist before she places my hand on her breast and straddles my lap, My heart skips a beat and I can feel his gaze burning into me. I brush my hair to the side, allowing him to see my back and side profile with ease. She reaches behind me and unwraps my top. Her fingers run along my bare skin, skimming the side of my breasts teasingly before she removes it completely and dro
XENDAYA. I stand there feeling extremely nervous and excited to think that after all this time I’ll finally see Mom and Dad again! I’ve really missed them a lot. Only now, as I wait for them to get here, the minutes feel like hours. It’s extremely hot, but I refuse to go inside, wanting to be right here when they arrive. I’m wearing a blue skirt and top, making sure it wasn’t so sheer like most of my outfits. But I’m not sure Dad would approve of my ass being on show. I glance across at Hazran, Kaizoran and Dagnoth, then again, I don’t think Dad would be ok with a lot of things. ‘What he doesn’t know won’t hurt,’ Shayara quips. I huff, and Agnarr smirks at me as we wait for our guests to reach the gates. I can hear them in the distance, the armies hidden by magic as they make their way to the fortress entrance. “You are not so innocent, My Dragonette,” he teases. He has been doing that since morning when I picked this outfit out. I glare at him, but he simply pulls me close and
XENDAYA. Mom glances at her, and then at Agnarr, I know she’s clicked. “And who is this?” Orrian asks, clearly curious about the way Leinaar didn’t bow so deeply. “I am a family friend,” Leinaar says, bowing to him. I exchange looks with Agnarr, who looks away. “And a queen of this kingdom,” I say, smiling at Leinaar. She looks up at me surprised, before smiling faintly. Dad frowns but he says nothing. He already knew of the dragon ways. “Ah… I see, well we will be right there,” Mom says, glancing at me, and I smile at her, not wanting her to show her any hostility. ‘I will never understand it.’ Agnarr says. ‘But thank you for understanding.’ I respond. “Well, we will head to the council, Lady Morgana, Xendaya… I’ll show you both to your rooms.” “His way of making sure I’m safe,” I whisper to Mom, who chuckles. “Leinaar, show our guests to the hall,” Agnarr says. “Yes, My King,” she responds before bowing to the others. “You continue to shock me with your growth, Xenie,”
XENDAYA. “This is a pleasant surprise.” His voice is as calm as any predator before they strike. He steps forward with his cold murderous eyes on Leinaar, yet there’s something in them that makes me want to run in the other direction. ‘Agnarr!’ I shout through the link. We need help. There is magic around us, and I don’t think in my current exhausted state that Leinaar and I will be able to take him. Why do I feel like this? What magic has Elzan done on me? “Stop the fruitless cries, no one but I can hear you. And after our last meeting, there is much I need to settle with you,” he whispers coldly to me, his eyes not leaving Leinaar. “Now step aside, you useless whore.” “No,” Leinaar shouts, her aura surging around her. “Xendaya, now is not the time for heroics. Run!” With those words she transforms into her dragon, but I’m not leaving her alone, and as much as I want to protect my child, I know we won’t be able to get out of here, even if I ran. Agnarr and I both struggled again
AGNARR. “I think we should turn in for the night,” Kian says as we finish going over the plan and making a few changes. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve changed things. Those who will be leading the squads are all here. Haizhar, Harold, Kaizoran, Dagnoth, Hazran, our guests as well as a few more dragon chiefs. I nod, feeling restless. “Yes. Let’s rest.” We’ve done our best. If I’ve missed anything, then we will see in time. I have given it my best, but if I have left something uncovered, then we will have to face it when the time comes. “Well planned, there was nothing to alter. I’m impressed.” Remiel says as we turn to leave. I nod curtly, wishing I could remove this restlessness from my mind. Suddenly, the doors open, and one of the guards is carrying a bloodied woman. “My king, we found her clawing her way through the courtyard!” he says, his face pale as he places her on the ground. She’s naked, a clear sign she must have shifted, and her stomach is bleeding profusely.
I push open the doors to the Hall of the Dragons. The echo as they bang off the stone walls rings through the silent halls. Once again, here I am, to call on them to protect my queen. This time I do not have the will to say anything, simply bending the knee before the dragon in the centre. I simply lower my head, hoping they can hear and understand. Witness exactly what is happening… But will they? Am I losing faith in them already? No, I cannot, not when they have shown they are on our side. All I must do is have faith and give it my all. My Dragonette wore the crown of the true ruler. Nefzaan cannot touch her! Protect her. That is all I ask of you. I look up at the magnificent statues. They say silence speaks louder than words, so today I am silent. Praying that you hear me. Grant her strength and protection in this time. I know she is brave, and right now, it is her strength that is keeping me sane. To believe that she will hold on for me. The doors open and I turn seeing
A/N: This chapter contains slightly distressing content but nothing too graphic. XENDAYA. As a child, the haunting tales Mom wove for us in the candlelit hours of the night were something I looked forward to. Stories filled with brave heroes and creatures of nightmares who sought to destroy castles and claim lives. Little did I know then, the true monsters of this world are so much more terrifying than what the darkest depths of our imaginations could conjure up. Before me stands a man – no, a monster who is a living manifestation of pure evil. His presence is far more ominous than any monster from a story. I don’t know how, but his eyes, cold and soulless, hold a malevolence that surpasses anything I have ever seen. This evil being relishes in the suffering of others; he revels in it. He enjoys it. Nefzaan is a sick, evil monster who needs to be destroyed. In the stories that Mom told, monsters could be vanquished by knights in shining armour before they were able to do much da
XENDAYA. I see his eyes widen and I raise my hands, defying the powers of the enchanters as I break into a run. A run that feels like I’m trying to wade through tar, but even then, it’s fast- faster than they thought. I reach the Enchanter that’s closest to me as Nefzaan roars and lunges at me, just as the other three enchanters' powers grow around them. Too late! Now… come on. Breathe… Focusing with everything I have I unleash my aura, forcing them all back before I bite into the neck of the man I’m holding, tearing out his jugular vein with my hand as I gulp down his blood, allowing it to fuel the hunger within me, to give me the strength that I need. “GET HER!” Nefzaan snarls, and I hear the thundering footsteps of more dragons approaching. No. Not today. I glare at the door, slamming it shut before a blast of wind throws me back. “You will pay for the crimes you have committed!” I snarl, throwing the body to the ground as I focus on Nefzaan, and ice spreads beneath us at
