73. Awakening

XENDAYA.

The form he has taken has shaken me. The scale imprint on his shoulders have become real glistening scales that I can see melding into his skin. Black with a hue of beautiful green.

His face is sharper and more dangerous, his claws are black, just the way they are when he is in dragon form.

His eyes are surrounded by a black hue, one that reminds me of smudged eyeliner, his pupils have become slits and upon his forehead is a shimmering gold band, wound and entwined to create what looks like a crown even…

There’s something… something that has awakened inside of him, but I am not sure what it is… yet the urge to bow down to him almost overcomes me, but he’s holding me far too tightly.

But aside from all that, the most magnificent thing is the huge wings that spread behind him, filling the entire hall, and they’re not even at their fullest.

The black bone that forms the structure shimmers like the darkest of nights, ribbing along the wing. The membrane is like a deep thick
