"I hate you two!" Charlotte yelled at her brothers as they got out of the car.
"Char, we already apologized!" Landon yelled back
"Stop yelling you idiot, she won't forgive us." Peyton hit his brother.
"I'm not forgiving you no matter what!" Charlotte stormed to her room and locked the door.
"Char!" The boys called after her.
"Leave her alone boys." Miranda their mum told them.
"But mummy, what we did was for her own good." Landon explained.
"Yeah, it's not our fault he's a wimp." Peyton added.
"Let's go, you can tell me all about what you did in the kitchen." Miranda sighed.
They all walked into the kitchen, the boys sat on the kitchen island while Miranda started making dinner.
"So it all begun with a boy?" Miranda asked.
"Yes."
"An ugly one at that." Peyton wrinkled his small nose causing Miranda to stifle a laugh. "It's not funny mummy, he really is ugly."
"Even spice is better looking." Landon added comparing the boy in question to their black Yorkshire terrier pet dog.
"Lan, don't compare your friend to an animal, that's rude." she scolded her son no longer finding it funny.
"It's not my fault he looks like Bannister." he pouted.
"Oh goodness." she sighed holding back a chuckle. It was usually like this with the triplets, it was squabble after squabble.
"Even Bannister looks better, he's not fit for Char."
"And what makes you think that?" Miranda looked at her sons.
"For starters, he's not her class money wise, his IQ is very low-"
"Life isn't always about the money." she scolded.
"It is Mummy." Peyton rolled his eyes "besides daddy always says money runs the world and without it, you are nothing."
"Your father told you that?"
"Yes, he always says it" Landon smirked.

"Daddy." the boys run up to their father as he walked into the house and hugged him.
"Hello boys." Jason smiled at his sons.
"Hey baby". Miranda walked up to them and pecked her husband's lips.
"Ew." The boys scrunched their noses making their parents chuckle.
"Where's my princess?" Jason finally asked after looking around.
"Locked in her room." Landon and Peyton answered at the same time.
"Why, it’s only 7:30." Jason looked at the gold Rolex watch on his wrist.
"Your sons know better." Miranda told him while motioning her eyes towards the two boys.
"Boys?" Jason gave his sons a questioning look asking them to explain.
"She's mad at us." They rolled their eyes.
"Hello!" Fernanda greeted as she walked into the house.
"Hey!" They boys run and hugged her.
"Gosh you've grown so big." She gushed.
"Hey, it’s been ages." Miranda hugged her friend.
"Tell me about it, we've got so much to catch up on." The ladies giggled.
☻
"Where are Ales, Matt, Adriano and Eleanor?" Jason asked looking back and not seeing them.
"They are coming soon." Fernanda told them with a huge smile on her face.
"Let's go and have dinner." Miranda spoke after everyone had arrived and they all walked to the dining room and took their seats as they waited to be served.
"Where's Charlotte, I haven't seen her since we arrived." Matteo finally asked after looking around and nt seeing his favorite person in the Quan family.
"She's in her room angry at us." Peyton spoke bluntly.
"What did you do to the poor girl?" Old Eleanor asked with a small frown.
"It’s because we threatened and maybe slightly injured her crush." Landon answered.
"Her what" Jason choked on his wine. He had completely forgot about the conversation they were having before the Santoro’s arrival.
"Her 'crush'" they spoke in unison.
"Look who we have here." Fernanda beamed at the sight of little 8 year old Charlotte making her way into the room beside her mum.
"Come give me a hug baby girl" she opened her arms and Charlotte hugged her then Eleanor.
"Hey princess." Alessandro greeted with a smile before he gave her a quick hug.
"Hey." she gave him a slight smile which eventually widened when her big green eyes that were red and puffy from crying so much fell on Anthony's face.
"H-hi" she spoke shyly but he didn't responded, he just ignored her and chewed on his food like he had not heard her.
"Hey, I missed you." Matteo got up and hugged her causing a deep shade of red to appear on the little girl's cheeks.
"Don't make me kick his ass too sweetheart." Jason joked but Charlotte didn't take it as one and her smile turned into a frown.
"I was only joking my princess." Jason told her but he had already soured her mood.
The little girl took a seat next to her mother and tossed around the food on her plate the entire time.
"Aren't you going to eat your food?" Landon asked his sister who in turn didn't respond.
"Char, don't tell me you are still mopping over that ugly duckling." Peyton scolded earning a death glare from her.
"Peyt!" Jason scolded.
"What, she knows it’s true." He objected.
"Daddy, tell your sons to stop talking to me, I'm no longer their sister." Charlotte stated glaring at her brothers.
"Over that thing!" Landon gritted out.
"Don't raise your voice at me!" She yelled gripping her fork tightly.
"I will when you are wrong, you are my little sister-"
"We are the same age!"
"It doesn't matter, we were born before you!" Peyton spat.
"So what you dickheads!" She yelled out.
"Charlotte mind your language." Miranda scolded.
"That ugly duck is the one who taught her bad words." Landon told his father.
"No he didn't!" Charlotte yelled.
"Yes he did, he always uses them!"
"Shut up you big mouth!" She warned tightening the grip on her fork tighter.
"Or what" Landon spat "you are just a girl."
Feeling aggravated and angry, Charlotte got up and threw the fork in her hands directly at her brother and it merely missed him thanks to Jason who was quick to pull him away and it landed on the floor.
"Charlotte Kira Quan!" Miranda yelled at her daughter while everyone just stared with utter shock.
"Are you insane!" Peyton yelled marching towards his sister but Anthony held him back.
"Come any closer and I swear it will be too late to save you." She glared at her brother while grabbing the breadknife close to her.
"OK that's enough all of you time out!" Jason yelled "Charlotte go to your room."
"It’s not my fault, they started it." She pouted and stomped her small feet.
"I'm not asking you again young lady, go to your room." He seethed dangerously.
"I hate you! All of you!" Charlotte yelled at her brothers and father before storming off.
"Your daughter needs a therapist." Miranda told her husband with a sigh while moving to check on her son. This was not the first time she was lashing out like that.
"One won't be enough." Landon muttered holding onto his left cheek, luckily the fork had only grazed his cheek.
"Shut up this was you two's fault as well, you know how she gets when provoked." Jason warned them.
"It’s not our fault she's crazy and has bad taste." He commented feeling angry at how their father was defending Charlotte when she was clearly in the wrong.
"Make another comment like that and I'll spank your ass raw." He threatened his son who immediately shut up and stared at his plate.
"Let’s get your face cleaned." Miranda sighed and took her soon to the kitchen where she cleaned his wound.
Endings are not always bad. Most times they're just beginnings in disguise. ~Kim Harrison7 years ago"I'm so confused, what should I wear, this or this." Charlotte sighed exasperatedly as she showed her best friend 4 different black dresses."I'm not sure either bestie, they all look fabulous on you." Ingrid sighed."Charlotte hurry up, we need to leave!" Her father called from outside."OK!" She responded before turning back to her dresses."Honey, we need to leave." Miranda knocked on the door."Come in mummy.""Why are you not dresses yet Charlotte?" Her mother stared with disbelief at her daughter who was only in a robe. “It’s been over 30 minutes.”"I’m having trouble choosing the right dress." She sighed "this one makes looks formal but classy." She lifted a black tea length dress. “This one brings out my breast." She lifted a black sweetheart neckline dress with deep V-neck and her mother cocked her eyebrow at the dress, she knew how the men would react to seeing her in it. "

I told him after he helped me out of the car. "And have one of the maids take the bags to my room.""Alright." he nodded.I walked off to the entrance of the house and typed in a code into the electronic lock my father had installed a while ago and it opened."Finally you decide to show up." An all too familiar baritone voice spoke."Matty!" I screamed running to hug the guy I had seen in a long time."I missed you too love." He chuckled hugging me tighter as I closed my eyes leaning into his embrace."Ehem" someone obviously a man cle
"To transform yourself is to transform your destiny." ~ Laura EsquivelCharlotte"Hi." was all I could say manage to say, embarrassed at the memory of our last physical encounter. He didn't bother to respond and just walked back into the living room."Why is your brother always such an asshole." I huffed. "It's his nature." Matteo laughed."I didn't know you were coming, why didn't you tell me." I complained as we walked into the living room.“Fernanda!" I squealed and rushed to hug the woman in front of me."Sweetheart." she hugged me back."Hiii." I beamed at Alessandro before hugging him, he was never much of a hugger but I always hugged him every chance I got."Pumpkin." he smiled."Why did no one tell me you were coming?" I whined to my father."Because they wanted to surprise you." Dad smiled."Well this is the best one I've gotten in a long time." I beamed."You've grown so big.” Fernanda playfully pinched my cheeks and my cheeks turned into a bright shade of red."Babe stop
"Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same."~Wuthering Heights, Emily BronteAnthony"Hey." Matteo smiled as he walked into my office with a tray food in his hands."Hi." I responded with all my attention still focused on the file I was going through."Mum told me to bring you dinner." he spoke"Is the shit you smoke now affecting your eyesight too." I snarled as he almost put the tray on my paperwork."What have I done." he huffed"Are you blind or can't you just see that you are putting the tray on my paperwork." "Oh sorry" he moved the files and set the tray down before taking a seat in front of me."There's raspberry cream cake." he told me."OK." I nodded."Taste it, I know it's your favorite and it’s baked to perfection, the exact way you like it." "Later." "Come on, just a bit." he got the plate with cake on it and set it in front of me before putting a desert spoon in my hands. "Just taste it.""If I do, you better leave me alone, I'm busy." What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us. ~Ralph Waldo EmersonCharlotte"Hey." I said, finally mastering some courage and walking over to where Anthony was seated completely engrossed in whatever was in the black colored manila paper folder."What do you want?" He asked rudely not even bothering to spare as much as a glance my way."You’re so rude." I rolled my eyes before taking a seat opposite him.I knew for a fact he didn’t want me there but seeing him so serious gave me the desire to bother him. Anthony was always serious but this was the first time I was seeing him doing actual work and it intrigued me."I don't have the slightest idea of what we are going to do in London." I spoke after minutes of blabbering and him not giving me the attention I desired."Did your boyfriend not explain to you?” He grumbled.Anthony always had a tendency of calling Matteo my boyfriend, I tried making the fact that we are not together countle
If you will think about what you ought to do for other people, your character will take care of itself. Character is a byproduct, and any man who devotes himself to its cultivation in his own case will become a selfish prig. ~Woodrow WilsonCharlotteWaking up extra early so as to get ready for work because Anthony had informed Julio to tell me that I should be ready by 7:30am because we would be leaving at 8am. My first week in first week had gone by quite slow and I had barely seen Anthony and apart from strolling around the Villa, I never really had anything to interesting to do. I was bored to death and finally getting to leave the estate since I got here excited me.Pushing my feet off the bed, I decided to get started with the hardest part of getting ready which is picking out the perfect outfit. My father always said ones appearance spoke louder than their actions when making a first impression, he also said first impressions were everything. Carefully looking through the form
Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do. ~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe Anthony “Sir, we will be landing in the next 20 minutes.” The flight attendant told me and I nodded dismissing her. Averting my gaze to a sleeping Charlotte I couldn’t help the small smile that creeped on my face. She had fallen asleep hours ago after I finished explaining the content of the folder she had been pestering me about. I made sure I omitted any details pertaining to our illegal dealings. I wasn’t going to lie, I did feel relieved when she called my brother and it went to voicemail. I loved my brother but I found myself hating their closeness and this feeling only became worse as years went by. Charlotte was folded in the seat opposite mine, I had told her to sleep in either of the two rooms but she refused, I told her she would have body aches once we landed but as always her stubborn self didn’t listen to me. She proceeded to fall asleep and I was left to cover her bo
All bad precedents begin as justifiable measures. ~Julius CaesarAnthonyTo I was not turned on by Charlotte’s little show of power would be a lie. Watching her act like a boss lady had my hard on straining against the slacks I wore. I wanted to stay and continue watching the scene unraveling before me but I had to handle the tent on my pants before anyone noticed it.Quietly slipping out of the room making sure I was unnoticed, I made my way to my bathroom. The more my mind replayed what had happened, the harder I got and it was becoming painful. No woman had ever aroused my just by their show of power and that came as a shock to me, I had come across many successful, independent women in my lifetime but none of them made me feel the way Charlotte did. She truly was a gem. After a long while, I finally managed to calm myself and my manhood that had now gone back to its normal form. Exiting the room I entered my office only to find Charlotte standing and looking over a document on th
