Chapter seven

"I have every right!" She says and Dan sighed.

"What a crazy lady she is?"

Dan scoffed and released his grip on her.

"We are done for today, so get out!" He snapped.

"Huh; but sir, I don't understand the essence of what we did today. We just argued and quarrelled but nothing irrelevant" Melanie said.

"Oh please! Doc Melanie. How can you ever learn when you are clouded with pity and beliefs and in medical science, we don't agree with any of those not at all!" He said without looking at her.

"Doc Dan, can you face me for a sec" She said with a smirk and Dan groaned and sighed.

'Say what you want to say Melanie" He says.

"You will need to face me" She told him.

"I swear that if it's unimportant. I will kill you!" He muttered and then hesitated before he reluctantly faced him.

Melanie looked at him and smiled before she clasped her palms.

"Pardon me" She said and Dan furrowed her brows looking at her.

"You know you have everything, everything. You are handsome, I admit so handsome. You are fucking rich, yeah that's true. You are smart and brilliant but you are not smarter. As a doctor, we put to practice what we learnt but there are sometimes we have to make decisions by heart because why, we are still humans. So Senior Doctor, next time, you think hard" She said touching her head.

"Think hard and deep about the things that we can do and affects our patients negatively" She said and then bowed her head.

"Now I have learnt from what we did today" She said and bowed her head.

"See you later Senior doctor" She said and winked at him and Dan's eyes widened.

*Damn! Has she lost her senses or what* He thought. He sighed again and took off his coat and then sat down and then again, her words rang in his head.

"Whatever!" He said and scoffed.

Perhaps she was right. Yeah she was. The stubborn girl had some sense today. Suddenly his phone rang and he immediately picked it up and checked the I'd of the caller.

"Ethan.." He called and sighed.

*That brat! Why's calling?* He asked himself.

He sighed despondently and picked up the call.

" Brother, Brother!!!!!!" A voice screamed from the other line.

"Gosh! Ethan, when would you stop behaving like a kid!" Dan yelled.

"I missed you brother but it seems like you do not!" Ethan said from the other line and Dan chuckled. 

"Of course not little bro. I miss you badly" He said and Ethan chuckled.

"I called to tell you that I've moved all my stuffs to your place..."

"Don't tell me you would be staying with me" Dan groaned.

"Of course brother. I missed you" Ethan said and Dan sighed.

*Gosh! He's trouble* Dan thought.

"Who told you?" He asked.

"My father did" He replied nonchalantly. 

"Uncle, why did you tell him" He muttered. 

"Ok alright. See you at home. I love you Brother"

Dan hung up and sighed.

He needs no saint to know that he is in trouble. The house was never going to be peaceful again.

"Gosh! I should be preparred for trouble!" He groaned

Ethan smiled and put the phone on his pockets but then he suddenly remembered something that made his smile to fade away.

*Don't you get it?! I said I don't love you anymore! You know why you just got the looks but you're nothing in reality. I despise you and I despise your face. I never knew why I fell in love with you in the first place*

"Aish" He groaned and slapped his head.

"I need to forget about all that, past remains past. I should not remember it!" 

"Why am I still remembering that?" He thought and stop walking when he got to his favourite cafe.

"You have to be happy Ethan!" He told himself and a bright smile escaped his lips.

He smiled and walked in grinning happily until he bumped into somebody and a hot liquid spilled on him but thankfully he was putting on a coat

"Aaargh!" Came the female voice.

"What the hell just happened!" He thought.

"You just spilled my favourite coffee" She yelled and Ethan looked at her. He recognized her immediately. She was the grouchy girl he came across with yesterday. 

Chelsea also looked at him and gasped.

"I should have knew that it was you. You are always clumsy!" She yelled.

"But Miss, you also spilled coffee on me" He said and smiled while Chelsea rolled her eyes.

"That's because you weren't watching where you are going!" She yelled at him.

"You are going to buy me my coffee!" She yelled and dragged his hand and Ethan smiled revealing his beautiful dimples.

She looks so cute when berating. Finally he found someone who is cute than her when angry* He thought and smiled.

"Why are you smiling?" She asked him and Ethan smiled again and brought his head closer to hers.

Her eyes widened immediately he did that.

"What the hell is he doing?" She asked herself.

"You look so cute when you are angry!" He said and she scoffed.

"Repay me for my loss!" She yelled.

Ethan smiled and spoke again .

"How about I kiss you to repay you?" He asked and Chelsea looked at him dumbfounded.

"What the hell?!" She yelled inwardly

"You're beautiful miss!" He added and Chelsea stared at him blinking her eyes repeatedly.
