Eugene was about to break free from the reporters and then he took Jessica to his office ignoring the stairs he got from people.

As soon as they got into his office,Jessica leaned fully against him and burst into tears.

“Oh Eugene,those reporters were scary,I’m not used to being accosted like that,I was so scared.”

Eugene angrily pushed her away from his body.

Jessica’s tears seized immediately and she was surprised at his coldness.

“What’s wrong,Eugene?”

“Did you seriously have to do that?!”He thundered.

“Do what?”

“I know what you did,Jess so don’t bother denying it!”

Jessica continued pretending to be clueless as to what he was talking about.

“I still don’t get you.”

“I know you had the media publish that news!”

And that made her gulp.”Eugene,why are you making it seem as if I did a bad thing?!”

“You did a bad thing!You publish lies about Leah!”

“I did it for us!”

Eugene frowned.”For us?”

“The public would not easily accept me as your sudden second wife so I had to make them hate L
