Zayden

I watched as he pulled over and then opened the door for her like the perfect gentleman.

Bloody bastard!

My blood was boiling; I was itching to punch something, preferably his face.

She smiled at him. She was wearing a blue body con dress. It hugged her figure perfectly.

I knew she did this on purpose even after I told her not to let Aiden drop her off.

From where I stood watching them on the second floor I could see Aiden run his eyes over her body, over my body.

Mine, she was mine.

I don't know how it started, but after I gave in to my cravings and kissed her, I started craving more of her.

She smiled. She shouldn't smile if I wasn't the cause.

The first thing I noticed was the light purple spot on her cheek and forehead.

I watched the footage yesterday, and I saw what Sage and Oliver did to her.

I made him bleed a little, I only broke his nose. That was the least of what I was going to do to him.

As for sage,I sighed. My dad was furious that my secretary put her i

Zayden Nothing was more frustrating than her silence. She had refused to talk to me for five days straight and just stared into space while I tried to get her attention. It was more frustrating to watch her leave with Aiden every single day and watch them come to work together. God! I felt like killing him.He always had this mocking scowl on his face. I had to control myself not to confront them both or I might make her more mad. I knew she was doing this on purpose but I didn't like my reaction. I shouldn't be jealous; it was just a ride; they wouldn't be doing anything else, right? Yes, I knew I fucked up, but here I was trying to make it right, but she won't stop giving me the cold shoulder. It was a lot easier to convince a client to sign a contract than to convince a woman to stop being mad at you. I haven't given her any workload, I made Helena do all of it. After all, it was her fault Sage got to hear of our make-out session. So basically, she only came to work

Zayden Spank her.Finger fuck her.Eat her cunt like it was a desert.Choke her and take her from behind. And many more lewd suggestions from Google. As if she'd let me touch her. I'd gone no day without fantasizing about her underneath me in my bed. In the end, I had to call Oliver. He suddenly had difficulties making the muscles on his face stop extending his lips into a grin."Wipe that grin off your face or I'll do it for you." I breathed, irritation ticking my jaw.His grin only widened." From now on I'll be your love coach." "Fuck off! We are not on good terms." There was a dim in his expression for a moment but then his grin was back on."Now listen carefully and do exactly as I say if you want to win her back." He spoke with a hint of pride. And he told me what to do. I almost did the face slap. Why didn't I think of it earlier? Of course, women loved flowers and sweet little talks.I spent the next hour staring at the note Oliver had given me. He says to memorize the wor

Lillian "Why do you live with him? Did he force you to do that?" He snapped at me and I flinched a little. Zayden had both hands on my shoulders, clutching them so hard I thought my scapula would snap. I grimaced." Why do you think so bad of your brother?" I asked Instead. I'm yet to understand the relationship between the duo. He finally released my shoulders. " He is not someone you should be staying with. What happened Lilly? Tell me this is some sort of joke and you are only staying with him for a few days." He spoke, his voice soft. He called me Lily, my name on his lips sounded surreal. " It's not a joke, I'm living with him. At least till I get a place to stay." I finally said, embarrassment tainting my cheeks. He squinted his brows." Until you get a place to stay? What happened to your apartment?" I bit down on my lips; my eyes were beginning to sting. He grabbed my hand gently, his touch making all the hairs on my neck erect. " Tell me what happened."

Lillian Zayden said the house would be ready in two days. I had tried to make him tell me the terms of our agreement, but he had bluntly refused, saying I should move in first. I had the chance to refuse his offer and continue living with Aiden. But I was going to get my own space instead of living with a grown-ass man. I trust Aiden but I can never be too careful. So having a house to myself was the best option. I'll figure out how to repay Zayden later, but now I had to get on my feet first. My boss didn't let me leave with Aiden after work. He said he would punch him till he loses all his teeth if I dared set my butt on his brother's car. "I'll get you a hotel to stay for the next two days, but if you want his teeth wrapped in a box then that's fine by me," he had said rather calmly. From his earlier fight with his brother, I didn't doubt that he'd do what he said.I didn't want more attention to myself than I already have so I obediently accepted his offer." Zayden I watched her through the rearview mirror. She seemed a bit quiet, too quiet for the Lillian I know. She seemed distant and too lost in her world. We were on the way to the house I had promised her. I had sent a driver to get her things from Aiden's place. She had insisted she went by herself but that part of me that hated the idea of her being with Aiden refused. I wanted to show concern. She had said the difference between me and my brother was that he cared more than I did. That was a huge blow to my ego but I wanted it to change. So here I was finding it hard to ask her if she was okay. I sighed in frustration. Caring for people was exhilarating. " Mrs Ace, are you okay?"I finally said. She remained silent, staring out the window. Her face was a bit pale. I slowed down and then honked. She jumped a little, eyes searching her surroundings. " I asked a question, Mrs Ace," I said again. Her eyes widened, they were dull. I didn't like it. She wasn't her

Lillian Staring at the billion-dollar painting on the wall was becoming boring. I had unpacked, not that I had much to unpack, but I had arranged the little I owned. Noah, the butler, had helped me unpack and made breakfast, too. He said he would be here till evening. Sighing, I got up from my position with a new resolve. I'm not going to sit here and sulk over some shit that happen years ago and let it ruin my present. According to Jade, I'd better make good use of my today than brood over yesterday. I have a life to leave and my traumas wouldn't stop me from doing that. My life is finally falling into pieces. Even if it feels like I'm entering the lion's tummy, the adrenaline rush is pretty relaxing. I exited the room to take a tour around the house. Since this was now my house, I might as well do what I liked. I made a mental note of the changes I needed to make. First, the colours were beautiful but dull, reeks of loneliness and depression. The walls were devoid

Zayden I remained calm, my face devoid of any emotion, because that was what they wanted. Any flicker of emotion I let slip through would be their tool for manipulation. " You want me to step down?" I raised a brow, my teeth grinding against each other. My father kept his shoulders high." Yes, and we have valid reasons to do so." I snorted. "And they are?" The other members remained quiet, waiting for my father to speak. "We've thought this through and made a careful decision. You are no longer competent enough." He finished. I should have expected his vague reason. Why put me as CEO since I was eighteen, only to throw me out now? I didn't think this was all, there was more to it. " Did the deal with Hale Corporation fall through?" I asked Instead, trying so hard to maintain my cool demeanour. He retorted." They haven't given us feedback yet." I relaxed further into my seat, my eyes fixated on him. I stopped seeing him as a father a very long time ago. The on

Lillian I had never felt this relieved in my life on finding out that it was Zayden's house help that arrived. Aiden was already halfway through the back door when I called him back. " You should leave, I can't afford to have another heart attack." I chuckled as I collapsed on the couch. Aiden checked his watch." It's barely five, but I'll leave soon. Or my brother might have my head." We chatted some more with me nervously checking the wall clock every minute. He finally got up to leave."From now on, speak to me at the office." I walked him to the door. He pouted." You don't want anyone finding out about us ?" I rolled my eyes." Stop making it sound like we're doing something bad." He laughed, gently raising my hand to his lips." I'll see you soon, Lilian." I smiled at him and watched as he left. I could finally breathe like a human. Zayden returned when it was almost nightfall. I had prepared dinner myself despite Noah's objection, and I was stuffing m

Lillian He came! He came for me! The moment Zayden walked through that door, it felt like that hook that had been at the back of my throat finally came off. Like I could finally breathe, like my shoulders could finally feel less heavy. Like the void and darkness that engulfed my soul suddenly disappeared. At one point, I gave up, especially after seeing the news that he was in prison. I lost hope that he was searching for me. So seeing him right now made my eyes water. All the strength and courage I had lost suddenly came rushing through my body. The sudden urge to watch him murder these people while I applaud in the background was overwhelming. It would be our perfect victory. This was the only instance where I think shoving a knife through someone's heart was completely normal and legal. That someone being Jade. Call me insane, but I no longer care, not after what I've been through. For the past few days, Sage didn't hurt me past what I couldn't bear. It was always

Zayden Oliver groaned, clutching his injured arm. I ran over to him, more gunshots firing through the air." Take whoever is shooting down, right now!" I yelled.I knelt beside him, trying to put pressure on the wound." Ahh...fuck! You didn't tell me it hurt this much." He groaned, his face turning beet red.I tore a piece from my jacket and wrapped it around the wound to stop the bleeding." What? Did you expect an orgasm?" I crooked a brow.He threw a glare my way or at least tried to. His face twisted in agony as I lifted him up.I can't carry him any more than this because my gunshot wound was still fresh. I did not want to reopen it, at least not yet." Stay here and call for help if you can't bear the pain," I told him.He shook his head "No way, I'm going in." " Can you handle it?" He stood on both feet, sweat pouring down his face." It's just my left arm, I can manage." I scrutinized him for a moment and then shook my head." You look like you are going to pass out. Go ba

Zayden We spent half an hour trying to shake off the cops. They were very persistent and chased us around town. We managed to take down two of their cars, but no casualties were obtained. And then, finally, we lost them. " I think we should shift the rescue to tomorrow night." Oliver suggested." Hell, no! I'm getting my wife back today!" I countered.Oliver did the face slap." It's almost daybreak. The journey to Delaware would be a long one, and then it would be broadcast tomorrow morning that an inmate broke out of his cell." " Then we better start now," I added, walking over to the back of the van to change my bloodied clothes. Oliver had successfully removed the bullet manually and stitched me up. I had to force myself to think of Lillian's boobs so I wouldn't pass out from the pain.Oliver sighed but didn't say anything more. " Let's run over the plan then," I spoke up, gathering all the men together." The search starts from here," I said pointing at an old manor. "It's

Zayden The hands of the clock ticked very slowly. I didn't sleep, I stayed up and counted each second. It kept ticking, each second felt like an hour. Five...four....three...two...one!Midnight.I walked over to the bars, there was a camera right in front of my cell. It was in every cell in the precinct. My eyes were glued to it, waiting for the blinking red light to switch off. I waited while glancing at the clock at intervals. The officers that went on patrol would be back by 2pm so I had two hours to break out of this place. A minute passed and nothing happened. I began pacing; it's just a minute, right? Maybe Blondie got jammed with something. He can't possibly back out, I'm giving him six hundred fucking dollars. My hands were jerking uncontrollably. I glanced at the clock again; five minutes had passed, and I could still see that blinking red light from the cameras. I tugged my hair, I'll wait a little longer. I don't want to have to resort to drastic measures.I double

Zayden Just like I predicted, Thomas was found dead the next morning. It was broadcast on the radio that he was brutally murdered in his home at 1 pm last night. The surviving wife and child were taken into police custody immediately, and a thorough search for Tyrell was set in motion. Once again Tyrell left his signature in the gory scene. The state was in an uproar. The police began night patrol but I knew that wouldn't stop him. The police needed extra forces, so the officers in the precinct were reduced by, half, which thankfully was to my advantage. At night, half the officers would go out for patrol to protect their citizens, and that's when I'd break out I have about eight hours before nightfall. I'd lie if I said I wasn't nervous butt at this point, I couldn't care less. The only problem I was faced with was getting the keys from Blondie. He would keep watch tonight, I planned on bribing him, but there's a fifty per cent chance that it would work. I'll just have to

Zayden Aiden was soaring high. He was making a name for himself in my place. I was forced to listen because that stupid blondie refused to turn off the radio. I didn't complain after; at least I got to know what was happening in the outside world. Aiden launched a project, and it gained fame; he received praise here and there. The press was all over him, some releasing articles saying The company has doubled its assets since Aiden stepped in. Apart from that, the news was boring. I had sent another message to my dad through Oliver. He refused to see me and asked that I be patient till the day before my trial which was eleven days from now. I'm not a patient man.I had no choice but to fall back to breaking out of prison. Don't get me wrong, I haven't done this before, and I still have no idea how I am going to go about it. I've seen a few movies, so breaking out of prison shouldn't be that hard right?Wrong! It's as hard as hell, even with the blueprint at the back of my min

Zayden I was kept in a cell. I would be transferred to Fox River prison if I was found guilty two weeks from now. It's not that I don't trust my lawyer, the worst that could happen would be me getting locked up but with a reduced sentence, Maybe forty years.I cringe at that thought, it wouldn't bother me so much if Lillian was coming to see me.But the fact that she still hadn't been found was eating me up from the inside. My plan failed; I couldn't get my father to talk, and I cursed myself for it.I still had another chance before my trial which was in two weeks. I sent a message to my father asking for us to meet privately. He at first refused but then sent in his response just yesterday. The only problem was that he would grace me with his presence a day before my trial. I can't wait that long.I can't wait two weeks before I get out of here, Lillian needs me. I paced my cell, tugging on my hair. I was slowly losing my mind. I pushed myself up against the bars, banging on th

Lillian. I used my fingers to detangle my messed up hair while staring at my reflection through the water in the bowl Falco brought me a while ago.I bite down on my lower lip suppressing the sob that threatened to fall out. My hair was barely shoulder length and cut irregularly. I've never felt this much rage in my entire life. That painful urge to pick up a fork and stab it through that bitche's eye was eating at me.Yes, I was helpless but I knew I would get rescued and these fuckers would pay.I'll personally shave every single hair off her scalp with my bare hands.I wasn't too surprised when she walked in yesterday, at first she had a mask on her face but her swollen tummy gave her away. That look in her eyes was like she had already won. I didn't do anything stupid and just remained quiet till I was taken back to the basement. Now here I was preparing for the night.Falco came in placing the bowl of rice on the floor. It's the same old rice and eggs but thankfully no apple t

Zayden Dressed in a black Armani three-piece suit, he stood before the podium, cameras flashing their lights in all directions." You're going to be in the newspaper tomorrow, Zay." Oliver chortled.I shrugged."I guess I'm getting famous." My father cleared his throat, and then a drained expression formed on his face. I've known him long enough to know when he was faking an act. Right now, he was faking it." It's with utmost sorrow that I stand before you here today. I should have addressed this issue sooner instead of letting it lie low till now." He began, his eyes looking over the crowd. " As a citizen of this great country, I must abide by the laws of our land, and an outlaw remains an outlaw regardless of whether he or she is a family member or not." He paused, using a napkin to wipe the sweat off his face."The news of my son's crimes must have circulated by now. Some of you have questioned my credibility and the credibility of my assets.
