Zayden

I pulled the trigger as fast as I could, aiming at his hand holding the remote control.

It flew out of his hand, a hole appearing on his palm. He grunted loudly, clutching the hand I just shot.

If I had delayed for a second I'd probably be ashes by now. I trudged over to where the remote control was and picked it up, tucking it safely in my pocket.

There's no way I'm letting him have it again.

I stared at him on the floor, blood dripping down his hand and neck. I could end it right now and not be accountable for it.

The cops had given me the go-ahead; I was doing this city a good if I shut him in the head right now, but what I didn't get was why the fuck I was holding back.

I cursed silently, something was wrong. I could feel it, something was wrong with me.

I placed my finger on the trigger and urged every fibre of muscle in my body to pull it, but I couldn't.

He noticed my resistance." What's the matter? Don't want to get more blood on your hands."

Lillian At that moment I so much wanted to pick up a rock and smash it on this jerk in uniform's face. " Excuse me? What the hell are you trying to do." I snarled, stepping in between Zayden and the officer. He cleared his throat." The operation is over so..." I cut him off abruptly." So get the fuck out of here and go back to your precinct." He remained standing, staring at me like I just disrespected his entire lineage. " Excuse me ma'am, but I have to do my job. He needs to return to his cell today without fail." He explained, his brows twitching. Zayden was about to speak but I waved a hand, mentioning for him to let me do the talking." My husband just fought a man who had been terrorising the entire city for weeks and that you and your incompetent cronies have never been able to bring to justice. But now, you have him behind bars courtesy of me and my husband, who risked our lives for the sake of this city." I stepped up to the officer, maintaining eye conta

Lillian I had been running around every day putting pieces of evidence together along with Oliver to help Zayden's case. It's been four days since he was put behind bars and I had gone to see him twice. At this rate, I was losing hope because his dad was bent on making our lives hell. The trial would begin in two weeks but we still had no evidence for Laura's death. That was the major issue, but all evidence still points to him, and we still have not been able to counter it. Tyrell was sentenced to death by the electric chair. He committed too many murders to even be granted the gift of life imprisonment. It was even risky as he might break out again and go on another killing spree. His execution was to take place next month, I won't be going to watch because I've got better things to do. Unfortunately, he had no family members, so he was going to face death alone. Aside from that, I had another issue. I had reported Aiden to the cops and requested an arrest. The recording

Lillian I took my seat in between Jade and Oliver. " What took you so long?" She whispered at my side as we all stood up to honour the judge's presence. " I had a pee break," I whispered back. I felt selfish, like I just made a very grave mistake. Closing my eyes, I sat back down; I could have ended this five minutes ago. I wouldn't have to sit here and listen to men in wigs talk if I hadn't refused his offer. I refused to drop the case, and now, Zayden's father vowed never to let Zayden out of prison bars if, by any chance, we win this case. I can't degrade myself by apologising publicly for a crime I know too well Aiden committed. And I have a very strong feeling that Zayden would approve of my decision. Zayden's father walked in a minute later and sat at the other rows of chairs along with Loren. It seems Oliver was having a heated dispute with his father for taking sides with me and Zayden. They barely looked at each other, and I had noticed how Loren t

Lillian Oliver rushed in, sweat dripping down his face as he panted. The courtroom fell quiet, all eyes on him. Sage appeared behind him, her eyes glued to the floor. My blood thrummed loudly as I looked back and forth. She stepped forward, tears streaming down her face. Oliver nodded at her and placed a kiss on her forehead. She walked back to the witness stand with the police officers following behind. "I...I...I have a confession to make." She spoke, her voice cracking. She looked and sounded hysterical, I could even see how her hands trembled. " You already confessed Mrs Smith, is that correct." The judge noted. She nodded." I left out some parts ." She sniffed, wiping her tear-stricken face. The courtroom fell quiet again with low whispers here and there. Aiden's lawyer rushed to his feet. Honestly, I find him annoying; he was so desperate to obstruct justice for a pile of cash thrown at him. " Objection my lord. The verdict has already been served. Besides, she su

Lillian I stroked the last item on my budget list, a three-carat diamond tennis bracelet gotten from Italy. This was the most expensive jewellery in my shop, and yeah, I'm selling it off to the highest bidder. The business has been great, and now I have to restock every Saturday due to the high demand for my exquisite jewellery. I employed Brenda as my personal assistant. So far, she's a bubbly fellow, hiding the sadness in her eyes every day with a smile. She goes to pick up Frederick by two and then he'll stay at my office till evening. He was no longer shy around me, always running around, scattering my documents or pulling at my dress when he wanted uppies. And today was not any different; he was sitting on my lap in my office, sipping on apple juice as we both watched the news. It's been three days since Aiden's arrest, and the media hasn't failed to broadcast it every single day. Kent Tech was now without an heir leaving the public with uncertainty on who was go

Zayden Silence. Silence and darkness lingered in my cell. The Silence enveloped me every single day to the point that It was suffocating. There was only one light bulb, dimly lit. I didn't bother counting how many days I had been here. It would only add to my frustration. These four walls and the deafening silence reminded me of nine-year-old me. How I would sit in my room till the Sun goes down with nothing to do. How I would stare out the window and wish I could go out or at least feel the wind on my face instead of the cold air conditioner. How I would get so bored and start smashing things or how I would punch the wall just to get myself to feel something even if it was pain. My father didn't even bother dropping at least a text message or phone call. He just dumped me in that house and left me there. The last thing he told me was that when it's time he'll let me out and that I needed to pay for what I did. It's sickening. It was like I was reliving my chil

Zayden I don't remember much but I knew he always fought with my mother. I was too young to understand what they were always quarrelling about. But now, I was beginning to get a clearer picture. "I had a vasectomy in my early twenties. Your mother doesn't know about it, and neither did I attempt to tell her until she broke the news of her pregnancy to me." He continued. " I was filled with rage because it only meant that she had cheated on me. I initially wanted a divorce, but she begged me not to because the Shame and degradation that would follow was too much. So I thought better of it." He stood up, picked up his golden cane, and strolled off to the window. "Laura was the heir to her family business, and as her husband, it's only customary that I take full control, especially if she was with child." He turned to face me, a sly smile on his lips. "So I had a deal with her. She would hand over her family business to me and I would take you in as mine." He stroll

Zayden I wrapped my hands around his neck, squeezing the breath out of him. " Do you realize what you did!" He tapped his fingers on my hand."Let go of me Zayden. The cops are outside, you don't want to add to the charges already on your shoulders." I gritted my teeth in anger." I'm going to jail for a crime you committed. What kind of man are you?" He tapped my hands again this time violently." Let go of me this instant or I'll call the cops." " You can try...they won't hear you." I tightened my grip, that dark side of me whispering in my ears to strangle the life out of him slowly. His face was already turning red, his legs buckling underneath him. I stared at him in the eyes, letting him see the anger on my face. And then suddenly, I let go ; he bent forward, coughing and trying to catch his breath. He thought he was safe because I was handcuffed but he thought wrong. When he was done catching his breath, he sat upright." Don't you want to hear the rest of th

Zayden Five months later I was going through the documents for our project, the expansion of our jewellery shop. I had built another branch in California, and now I'm constructing another in New York. The jewellery shop was making waves; It got to the point that I now had to start shipping in new jewellery every two days. Oliver was still the CEO of Kent Tech. Lillian had tried convincing me to take it back; it was rightly mine anyway, but I refused. Besides, Oliver was handling it pretty well. For me, going back there felt suffocating, like I was offering myself over to my father's clutches again. I preferred running the jewellery shop with Lillian, and I have big plans for our business. I'll leave the company to Oliver and Jade. Speaking of which, they were getting married because Jade got pregnant. I knew she would get pregnant eventually from the start because, obviously, they weren't careful enough, and Oliver was also a horny freak like Me. Now, I'm the one giving

Zayden There on the notice board was my name written in bold. I could not hold back my joy. I'm now a freeman. I can finally go back home and be with my wife.I'll make it to Laura's first one-year birthday. Unfortunately, my roommate didn't make it, and he didn't seem bothered about it." Congratulations, man, your efforts have finally paid off. I'm going to miss you a little." He spoke patting my shoulders.I was still in disbelief, my chest was heaving up and down. I can't wait to surprise Lillian. She would probably break down in tears once I told her the news. We were taken back to our cells and ordered to pack our stuff which was nothing much. The next morning, my release papers were being finalised, and I was told that it would take three days for everything to be processed. The wait was worth it, and while I waited, I shaved my beards off, and I bid my cellmates goodbye. Most of them were jealous while others were happy for me. I was put under surveillance on the day of

Lillian Aiden had rejected my visit twice, he was making it hard for me to keep my promise to Zayden.I don't know if he was overly weighed down with guilt or if he simply still hates my existence. Anyway, today was another day to try again. This would be the last time that I would come here, and if he still refuses to see me, then I'm giving up on him. To my surprise, he accepted, and I was led to the visitation room that had a glass wall dividing my box from his. I guess that's how chronic criminals were kept. Aiden was brought in a minute later and the first thing I did was take in his features. He looked the same only that he had grown thick beards and had a few scars on his face. Why do prisoners even grow beards? It must have been tough there for him. He sat on the other side and picked up the telephone.I spoke first." It's been a while Aiden." He raised his eyes to meet mine, and for once, I saw the friend I had in him. The friend I thought I could confide in when things

Zayden I went back to my cell with a smile on my face and a satisfied dick. Now I had even more zeal to push harder and get that parole. I'm going to get it at all costs. I did every single task I was instructed to. I avoided fights, a lot of them and bore insults from some proud bastard inmates. I just want to leave this place soon or I might lose my sanity. The days rolled by again, and finally, news got out that the selection had been made, and we would either go in batches to the front yard because, according to my roommate, they paste the list of people who had been chosen on a wide notice board in the front yard. But other times, they call them out of their cells to prevent a stampede because, eventually, everyone wants freedom. This time around, the names were pasted in the front yard, and our warden announced that we would go in batches to check. My blood thrummed in anticipation and agony. If my name appears there then I'm finally a free man. I kept fidgeti

Lillian I don't think I can even remember my name. He had turned me into a hot, shuddering, and slippery mess.He pounded Into me harder than before and a loud moan escaped my lips. Drool slipped down my open mouth as my breast bounced up and down.Zayden groaned harder." Fuck....that's it. Milk my cock baby." I arched my back further and spread my legs out as far as they could go.I wanted to feel him deep in my cunt, so deep that I would feel it in my throat. He pushed his hard length into me again and I nearly lost myself." Harder...fuck me harder." I cried, the pleasure so thick and heavy that it made my legs quiver underneath me.A deep growl emanated from his throat as he flipped me around to face him." On your knees." He commanded, his eyes spitting a fiery fire.I looked up at him confused." What are you....." I didn't get to finish my sentence when he shoved my shoulders down and I landed on my knees. His cock stood outright on my face, inches away from my lips. I then un

ZaydenMy breathing had doubled as we made our way inside the restroom. I was already salivating like an animal. I won't lie; I went to bed sometimes fantasizing about sex with Lillian. It got me hard and unbelievably horny. It's frustrating not being able to get a release, so most times, I suppress my desires, but right now, I'm letting it all out.We stopped in front of the mirror, and our eyes jammed; I saw the heated gaze in her eyes. She licked her lips and it ignited a fire that had slightly damped in me.I pulled her in immediately and we locked lips. She hummed as I dived deeper into her mouth. I ran my fingers into the locks of her hair, savouring the taste of her mouth.God! I missed this.My hands slide down to squeeze my favourite part of her body.I groaned at the feel of her breast; it had grown bigger, probably due to breastfeeding, and also softer."Damn, Lilly. I've daydreamed about this moment so many times." I hummed, picking her up and pushing her against th

Zayden The days passed so slowly. I had carried such a heavy weight on my shoulders till this very moment. How did I survive these last twelve months in solitude and without Lillian? I spent my time being on good behaviour and obeying every single instruction the officers gave. Don't get me wrong, life in prison isn't something you should wish for. And it also isn't for the weak. There had been about two to three suicide cases each month. What kept me going was the thought that I had a wife and daughter to go home to, unlike my roommate, who had no one outside these walls. I don't know how he managed to crack jokes each day and interact with other inmates but his outspokenness gave me some solace. At least I got the chance to get my mind off my predicament and enjoy some good company. I did learn a thing or two from the people here. Half the population of Inmantes claimed to have been wrongly accused. I believed it because the guilty ones bragged about their crimes every chance

  • The Devil's Secretary    Chapter 115

Lillian Time flew by so slowly that I could count each wavering second. Every day felt like the wind; of course, I had Jade, Oliver and Noah, but I still felt that absence. That hollow feeling like there was a wormhole in my belly. Like a missing piece to a puzzle. Like I can't breathe yet air passes in and out of my nostrils.Laura had been discharged and she was a hefty baby. She Cries a lot and makes faces whenever she feels like it.It's been a year since Zayden's imprisonment, and he hasn't been granted bail, nor has he been granted any form of visitation. It wasn't until last week that he was finally allowed to get visits, and so, for the first time, I'm going to the Fox River Prison to pay my husband a visit. He would be surprised how much Laura had grown, and the striking resemblance they shared. She had grey eyes and a troublesome personality. Always clawing at my clothes or pulling at my hair. And then she would crawl on the floor, scattering her toys and a whole lot

Lillian Just when I thought we already had victory. Just when I thought we could finally be happy and be together. Now, it all came crashing back down. Ten years! I blinked rapidly. Maybe this was all a dream, and I'll wake up anytime soon. But it wasn't! Jade tapped my finger, interlacing her fingers with mine." They are kidding, right? I crooked, another tear escaping my eyelid. The judge stood to his feet, ready to take his leave. I looked over the crowd frantically. The cops were already moving to take Zayden away. He lost his freedom because of me, because he broke out of prison to save me. No ...it can't end like this. We have to do something. I looked over at Oliver who seemed to be in a daze, complete disbelief all over his face. The next moment, I stood to my feet; if no one was going to do anything, then I would. I don't care if I was obstructing justice or not; my husband can't spend 10 years in prison for coming to rescue me from kidnappers. " Wait! " M
