Dylan's POV:
"The fate of humanity is depending on you and all that you ever think about is a birthday present to the most dangerous creature that ever lived on the face of the earth?" Erythaea furiously said to me.
"Missy would be very disappointed if she found out that I forgot her birthday," I simply ignore Erythaea's rant towards me. "Do you think she would ever forgive me if she found out that I have no gift prepared for her?" I continued and stare blankly into space trying to collect my thoughts.
"None of that will matter if we are all dead. Will you focus on the bigger issue?" I know she is pissed by now and yet she is still acting cool.
"Of course, the world comes first. I'm still trying to get used to being a human. All of these thoughts are getting inside my head and all of the emotions are drowning me," I explained to her.
"If there's anyone who can br
Dylan's POV:It's been a week since the incident. Aria became weak after exhausting herself from fighting against her dark power. I carried her down the mountain, and Freya teleports us back to the Silent Willow forest. Erythaea also informed us that the black hole in the training room disappeared at the same time she turns back to her normal self.Everything is under control, for now. We are taking this precious time for Aria to recuperate and prepare for the worst that is about to happen. I am sure that the underworld is making preparations as well to attack the earth.Aria locked herself and never left the room ever since we return from the fortress. I was on my way to her room to bring her food to eat when I bump into Oslec in the corridor."It's been a week, and she is still locked in her room," I said with a sad grimace.Fugly placed his hand over my should
Dylan's POV:"You're unbelievable, Dylan," Aria sounds irritated."I don't understand. I thought you were going to be happy with my gift," I confusedly said to her."I sold my soul for a wish and yet your caster only gave you a cellphone for a wish?!" her voice rises a bit turning the heads of everybody who is in the garden."I never thought that a cellphone was valuable before," I tried to explain to her."It's just a communicating device, Dylan and you can get it in any local market," she said with blazing eyes and gritted teeth. "Souls are more important and if you just told me before that all you want is a cellphone, I could have given you a phone," she added."Phones don't have value to me before, not even human life. Everything begins to matter and have meaning since the day I met you. You thought me how to value life and soul. You help
Dylan's POV:"Come on spill it out, Barbie!" I anxiously said to Clarren."Where did you get the information about Aria's wing?" Oslec inquisitively inquires."The legion told me," he quickly replied without a flinch."They gave you the information just like that?" Aria raises her eyebrow when suspiciously asked him."Yeah, they easily gave me the information just like that," Clarren firmly said."Why would they do that?" I confusedly asked him. "Does Aria's wing mean nothing to them?""It means a lot to them more than you'll ever know. There have been consecutive attacks on the Legion's Head Quarters. It appears that they are also looking for Aria's wing. They are serious about acquiring Aria's power, so they think that we should have it then the underworld," Clarren carefully explained.&n
Aria's POV:Do you ever feel that something is missing in yourself? I am not sad, but some part of me feels empty inside. In my eighteen years of existence in this world, I've lost a lot of important people in my life and at the same time gain a lot of friends. I also found the love of my life and despite it all, I still feel incomplete.Today is the day I will reclaim my missing piece. The wings I am born with were taken away from me after childbirth. I will stand tall and will not falter against our enemies. I will take what is rightfully mine."If I am the one who can come close to the demon fox then I decided to go alone," I seriously said to them."Are you stupid? That freaking demon has nine tails, and he could easily kill you just by using one of his tails. For sure he is heavily guarded. That is why you will need all of us if you want to get your wings back and return here in
Aria's POV:"I'm Hiro Katsunaga, and I know who you are naphalem. I was told by the Legion that you will come looking for me one of these days and when that day comes I can take your life and absorb your soul," he bluntly said to me, and a smile curved on his lips. "I'm not your enemy, and I need my wings back to save the world," I sincerely said trying to convince him."Do you expect me to believe everything you said considering that you are with the company of the Djinn? He turned me into a monster and made me kill so many lives, so I could become a human," he furiously said.A vortex of anger swirled inside him and flowed through him like lava. I can see that he despised Dylan for the wish that her mother made thirty years ago."The Djinn you are referring to has a name and he is Dylan. He is no longer the cold-hearted demon that he used to be. Believe it or not, but he has changed," I try to explain to him."Lies, the Djinn is very manipulative and a trickster. He tricked my moth
Dylan's POV:Our spirits brightened and felt a sudden flare of joy when we heard the good news. Aria could hardly contain her happiness. Tears of joy and hope show in her eyes."Who is it? Please tell me," Aria anxiously said to Hiro."I've heard that the other wing is located in the Southern hemisphere about eleven meters deep and the only creatures who can guide you down there are the sea maiden,""And I assumed that you happened to know one, am I right?" I sardonically said to him."Well, as you can see I move from one place to another just to hide the wing and I happen to come across other supernatural creatures like us, so the answer is yes. I know one sea-maiden, her name was Sirene and she knows the exact location of the wing," he proudly said to us."What are we waiting for? Let's go and meet your mermaid friend," Oslec excitedly said.
Dylan's POV:"Please, don't stop. It feels so good," she lustfully said to me.I continue to kiss her down to her breast with my lips on one side and my hand on the other. Sucking, nibbling, and playing with her cherry with my tongue. She once again released a louder groan when I started to play with her breast giving both of her mounds equal attention.I carry her to the bed, gently pushed her to lie down, hold both of her legs, and spread it wide open exposing her whole being right in front of me. I get down on my knees and went down between her thighs. I start trailing my lips to her wet slit and gently slipped my tongue pressing inside her. She grasps my hair pushing my face closer and arches her hips higher while I entrenched my tongue deep inside, thrusting and dancing all over her cunt. All you can hear is the slurping sound of a hungry beast sucking and nibbling her pearl until s
Dylan's POV:"Aria is missing. We think that she escaped and went back to the castle," the fairy told us.Time seems to slow down. I was not able to comprehend what she said. My mind goes blank and frozen on the spot. My heartbeat increases rapidly and was shocked that I wasn't able to utter a word."The vampire must have summoned her," Hiro presumed."This means war!"After saying those words we gathered all together to conduct a meeting and prepare to rescue Aria from the vampire and break the spell that's holding her captive.I call Freya and take her away from the others so that I could speak to her privately. "Is there a way to preserve dead body parts?" I discreetly asked Freya."I don't know any embalming or mummification method but we fairies used a special chest where we store our seeds. It slows the
Dylan's POV:The ray of light was beaming through the small window. I can feel the warmth of the sun and slowly open up my eyes. My body was sore and stiff when I tried to move. My head is heavy, and my vision is fuzzy trying to see where exactly am I."Dylan, you are finally awake."I heard a familiar voice and when my vision started to get clear, it is confirmed that it was no other than Freya who is standing in front of me and looking down at me."Where am I?" I asked her feeling confused and disoriented. "Where is everybody?" I force myself to stand and sat on the bed. "Where is Aria?"I look around me trying to find a familiar face. I realized that we were back in the fortress of Silent Willow forest."Dylan, you need to stay calm. You have sustained severe injuries in your body, and you need to get more rest," Freya tries to change the
Aria's POV:I regain consciousness and found myself lying on the marble pedestal in the middle of nowhere. I noticed that all of my clothes were gone, but I didn't feel cold. There's a lush warm sensation within me. There is no pain in my body and no wounds or scar. I feel light as a feather and no heavy feeling or burden is weighing on me. I never thought that I was going to experience this euphoric feeling and tranquillity in my life. There is a rainbow of emotions at my disposal and yet, why do I still feel empty?"Am I dead?"That's the first thing that comes to my head. I don't feel threatened or worried and sense no harm. I get up, sat down on the pedestal, and look around me to see my surroundings all I can see was a bright light of infinite nothingness."Where am I?" I whispered to myself.I walk around trying to figure out what is going
Dylan's POV:Death is inevitable. I heard those words from Aria when we first met and trick her into making her first wish. We will all die anyway. She said it without a flinch. Aria is not afraid to die at that very moment because she felt that she has no reason to live and it is easier to accept death. Knowing that there's nothing to leave behind. That was before we found love. Now we are all gathered here on this battlefield fighting for our lives because we wanted to live. Ironic isn't it? There are moments like this when I wanted to give up and give in. Surrender to the darkness because there's nowhere to go. I feel trapped and lost with no hopes left in me, but when I think of Aria. No matter how difficult the situation is, I just can't let go of the possibility that one day we can be together living a normal and peaceful life. That small chance, a glimpse of hope, and the possibility are giving me enough strength and
Dylan's POV:"Dylan, wake up!"The agonizing pain in my head awakened my sore body. The stench of a thousand burning corpses fumes all over the place. My lungs were congested with thick smoke from the fire giving me non-stop coughing and difficulty of breathing."Dylan, wake up!"I heard it again. Someone is calling my name. "Where am I?" I confusedly said to myself. "Am I dreaming?" Still confused about what is going on with my surroundings and me."Geez, he lost it. Try to shake him or something." I heard another voice talking to the one who is calling out my name.My vision was still hazy trying to figure out what had happened. I tried to get up and look around me, then I saw Emann rubbing a piece of cloth on my forehead."Your head is bleeding try not to move too much," she softly said to me wh
Dylan's POV:This is it. The beginning of the end and the war will lead to the downfall of the Kingdom of Hell. I should feel excited that finally, it would be over, but I can't deny that my feelings are somehow divided. I am afraid and feared for the safety of Aria and the rest of the squad who will fight against the most powerful demon. There is thunder roaring like a beast outside the fortress. We are all startled upon hearing the eerie sound and decided to take a peak from the small opening of the fortress to see what is going on outside. We saw a huge thick red cloud from where the thunder came from, heading to our location. Unlike the dark cloud already covering the entire third stage of hell, this one brings acid rain, which is as red as human blood, and very destructive lighting that annihilates everything it touches. The cloud and storm are just a diversion. We are pretty sure that demon soldier
Dylan's POV:A great philosopher once said that if you want to succeed in life then your desire for success must be greater than anything else. There is no room for failure. I may be turning back into a human being, but I am still a demon and I will do anything in my power to get Aria's wing no matter the odds. Even if it means I have to return to my old ruthless self again.I let Aria, and the others go outside the cave for I don't want her to see the monster in me. I love her and I am afraid that she will resent me if she witnesses my true nature. It took me almost an hour before I finally reached the exit of the cave and everybody is waiting patiently for me to come out of the cave.As expected, there are all busy fighting the orcs. They are doing their best to hold their ground while I was busy negotiating with the Queen of the Damned."What took you so long?
Dylan's POV:"Yes," Aria's quick response to my proposal. "Yes, I will marry you, Dylan Lockey!" she repeats her answer will all sincerity and a rainbow of emotions at her disposal.Everyone releases an audible sigh and forcibly claps their hands to show support for our engagement. They don't want to ruin the moment, so nobody said anything to contradict the happy scene.I stood up and inserted the ring on the fourth finger of Aria's left hand and just now realized that it was no ordinary ring. The size is adjusted to the finger of the owner of the ring and the color of the gemstone changes depending on Aria's mood. Aria looks very impressed with her ring. I can see the wide smile on her face and the sparkling look in her eyes."Do you like it?" I asked her even though I already knew the answer, it is still good to hear her say those words."I love it," she quick
Dylan’s POV:We are busy testing the powers of the silver fox when a group of angel soldiers arrived on the scene. One of them is dressed differently from the rest of the military troops and from what I can tell, he possesses the highest rank in the military. His armor is gold-plated, unlike the others who wore silver armor. He carries badges that are pinned on his armor which stated his achievements from the previous wars. He wore a crimson red robe that I think serves no purpose but he did look so damn cool with it as if he is really in authority and has the power to control the situation. His wings are equipped with titanium blades with magical spells on them. The spell appears to be a demon-cleansing spell similar to the spell that was engraved on all of their weapons. Weak types of demons are vulnerable to this kind of weapon. They don't have enough power to deflect the effect of the spells. H
Dylan's POV:Despite our best effort to control the situation in the Southern Hemisphere, the demons are getting closer to the barrier, and more human lives are becoming casualties of war. Night and day the phoenix couple has stayed up on guard to ensure that nobody else gets hurt.Over the years, demons have learned how to disguise themselves, walk and live amongst humans. They have increased in number and are smarter than ever. Like me, they have learned how to hide their powers so that demons and angels cannot detect them. Hiro, Emann, and I were in charge of evacuating the humans and taking them to a safe place. We find it hard to identify the demons and the humans for they all look the same."Hiro, check everyone before you take them to the safe house. We can't afford to let a demon in the headquarters," I reminded him."I can't detect which one is the demon and which one is hum
