"So what did you ladies talk about?" asked a curious Zanthus trying to find out what made his little mate run to his embrace willingly, all while changing into his night attire.

Sitting on the bed with a book in her hand, Julia and her mate left long ago, Zanthus finished his work, joined her for dinner then decided to take a bath which resulted to her helping him bath in order to not let any mistress in.

"She told me about her life with that abuser." she informed not looking up from her book.

"And...?" he urged her to spill more.

Putting the book on the black velvet covers, she sighed.

"That man is no good, can you imagine he turned her into a vampire against her will, not to mention many other things..." she spoke thoughtful, anger appearing on her angel like face.

"To be honest, hearing her story i now know that i'm blessed." she added looking at her mate.

"Oh are you?" he teased.

"Of course i am, you give me rights and even after more than three moons you didn't ask me to fulfill
