Lyra had just stepped outside of the board meeting, her hands shaking and heart racing with anxiety. She had been nervous about presenting her ideas to the board, and the weight of their decision was almost too much to bear. As she looked around, she saw Derrick waiting for her with a warm smile on his face.

"My love," he called her with a huge smile on his face. "How was it?"

"I don't know, I think I blacked out a bit. I don't think I remember anything that happened inside of that room. I just know that I was not myself, I was out of it." Lyra said, breathing heavily. "I was so nervous, I really thought that my knees would just give out any moment."

Derrick pulled her into a comforting embrace as he chuckled a bit. "It's alright, I am sure that you did great, my love," he said.
