Chapter 121: Connected

When Zin walked back into the kitchen, his mind consumed with worry for Lyra. He watched as Dame brewed coffee, the aroma filling the room. Just as he feared, she seems to be very stressed; she's unable to handle it all.

"Dame," Zin said, his voice low. "I feel so guilty. I should have told Miss Lyra that I think Derrick is already in hell. Maybe that would help her more. What if I chose the wrong way of approaching this situation?"

Dame turned to Zin, his expression sympathetic. "Zin, you couldn't have known for sure. And Miss Lyra wouldn't have wanted to hear that anyway. I think that you made the right choice; this one's too much; even I can't handle that information, and I am from hell myself. I think that she is going to be even more mentally broken by that. We can't do that to her right now."
