89. New Friend Or Enemy?

"Where are you taking me now?" I asked him as he drove his car away from the bloody area.

He looked at me with a spark of red eyes, and then said in husky voice, "I'm taking you with me, Elisha. I have no idea why you trust me so quickly. It seems like you've wanted this payback your whole life. You want to kill them yourself. What do you want, Elisha? Do you want to stay out of the country until you give birth? Then we can start fighting back."

I sobbed continuously thinking about everything that has happened in my life, and I still felt bad about Cole. I asked him, “Did you really kill him?”

His mouth split open wide in a booming laugh, and replied, “No.”

I gave him a hunted look, “What? What do you mean?”

"You've got to be thinking about him. Don't worry, I just give him my little power," Farkas said with a sigh. "He wants to be like us, I could tell by the look in his eyes. I give him that power because he wants it so badly. You might see him again in a few month
