The night was long and Audrey couldn’t sleep even after yawning many times. She shut her eyes and took several turns to the side but it was as if the drowsiness she had vanished into thin air after she found herself lying down on the king-size bed in the master’s bedroom.

She would check the time often and every passing minute felt like an hour to her. Hey, eyes started to get tired but her mind won’t give her a break. She had been overthinking about the things that could happen while staying with Shane in the same house. To add up with her worries, her mother-in-law was expected to stay with them for a while.

Shane would definitely have no problem acting out like a ‘perfect’ husband he could be. Well, as for her, she could cook which was one of the ‘basics’ a woman should learn at least when getting married. Other than cooki

“Ugh!”Audrey opened her gapes upon hearing a painful groan underneath her. She was shocked to find Shane laying down on the carpeted floor, with her on top of him. It was an embarrassing position and nothing could make it more awkward when they were seen by a group of maids who hurriedly came to check on them. She pondered whether to act oblivious or in pain, and she did neither. Audrey jerked herself up but fell again when Shane heaved her down over him.“Hey, let go of me.” She whimpered and tried to get up once again but only to be dragged down over and over. “This drunkard is so stubborn,” she whispered to herself.

“Are you sleeping?” Audrey asked when she didn’t hear a response from Shane. She moved closer to watch his face closely, making sure that the other wasn’t pretending to be unconscious. “Say something if you’re awake,” she added while carefully watching his eyelashes which she expected to flutter.“Forget it,” she gave up her idea about him ignoring her question. “So, how I get you out of the tub? Don’t expect me to carry you like a princess because I’m not your prince. Ah, it should be the other way around.”She kept murmuring to herself, not noting the faint smile on the man’s face. “Gosh, why can’t I just leave you alone here until you recover on your own? Besides, it's you who decided to overexert yourself in drinking when you knew that you can’t handle it. Those

The warm water in the bath helped Shane feel less comfortable. His memory was still blurry but some details remained to play inside his head. He stared at the door where Audrey disappeared and brushed his face with his palms as he started to recall the reason why he was so hammered. Shane let his body slid down in the tub to drown away the weary thought he had in mind.He was busy shooting a commercial as the GGE ambassador when Stephanie called him. After his recollection with his lost love, Stephanie became more clingy to him that he’d spend the night with her at her place, occasionally. If not for Lucy’s firm reminder, he would have already ditched the second half part of the shooting just to meet up with the apple of his eye. Shane literally became one call away for Stephanie. The singer seemed to en

Moans and groans echoed in the four corners of the room. A queen-size bed was placed in the middle and on top of it, a nympho was grinding her hips against the man beneath her.“Ooh…”Stephanie was admired by millions, including Shane because of her angelic voice when she sings. Never did he thought that she’d part her lips, let out a sultry hymn, and made use of her vocals to incite an old man’s sexual desire over her. She moved her body up and sat over the man’s torso, filling in her empty, soaking wet cave with his boner. “Um…” she moaned when she felt its presence inside her.“Hah…” she puffed while keeping up her pace, doing most of the work since her partner was not just old but also had a large belly bump.

Uncomfortable but nice. Audrey tried scolding herself when her heart easily got swayed with just one simple action from him. Her clothes were wet and so was Shane’s. He was giving her a back hug and probably couldn’t see her face filled with a tinge of pink fantasy, accompanied a sweet curve on her lips. She felt nice. When she heard the words he whispered to her with his silvery voice, her heart skipped a beat. She almost felt like floating in the clouds if only not for the sound of water, dripping from their clothes to the floor, which entirely ruined the ‘sweet and romantic’ atmosphere she had imagined.Shane’s arms held her tighter, and it was no longer a hug, but he’s squishing her. She nudged him, so he’d pull away and let her go, but he tightened it more. “You’re hurting me. I can’t breathe,” sh

“Hija!”Mrs. Emily Vargas, Shane’s mother, and her late mother’s friend greeted her with open arms after seeing each other for a long time. The last time they talked in person was in the hospital after she got involved in a car accident.“It’s nice to see you again, Ma’am.” Audrey gladly hugged the elder. “Let’s get inside first. It’s cold out here,” she suggested and politely showed the way.Shane was still fast asleep, and she would suggest not to wake him up yet despite his mother’s arrival, or he’d only cause her to worry about his drinking habits.“You’re getting prettier every time we meet, Hija.” Mrs. Vargas smiled at her when the both settle d

Time passed faster when it comes to happy moments. Shane spent some hours talking to his mom and Audrey would occasionally join in whenever she was dragged in the conversation which was Mrs. Vargas’ doing of course. Audrey offered help in the kitchen to leave them alone but Shane told her to let the cook handle his tasks. It was thirty minutes past seven in the evening. Rebecca and the girls had prepared the dinner in the dining hall. And the three of them enjoyed a fulfilling meal. They were having some dessert when Audrey’s phone rang. It was Nathan calling him.“Excuse me, I need to take this call.” She pushed the seat back and stood. Shane was looking at her intently before she turned around to go out for a bit.“Hi, Nate. How’s everything doing?” She mumbled afte

“Hahaha!”Shane’s laughter broke the silence when Audrey cupped her mouth after talking so much. Her face was as red as a ripe tomato. “You’re blushing,” he teased, looking at her face under the moonlight.“No, I’m actually annoyed,” Audrey stated. She looked around and saw a bench ahead. They were in the orchard located ta the west side of the estate. The smell of ripening mangoes was so addictive that she focused herself on sniffing the sweet scent in the air instead of facing the man who couldn’t stop laughing while insisting that she was affected by his question.“Come on, chub. Did you really not have a crush on me before? I was already so good looking when we were in grade school. I even received a lot of presents and love letters from th

The reddish lights painted across the sky meeting the sea ahead was more than a magnificent view to witness at dusk. A rare beauty to find in the middle of the ocean. Between the vast sky and the deep sea, a couple was found hugging each other. Loving gazes flashes across the other and sweet smiles were inscribed on their lips. It was a rare affectionate sight, filled with joys and hope melted on their faces. “Isn’t it wonderful?” Shane whispered to the woman in his arms. He prompted her to turn around and enjoy the scenery in front. “They say, watching the sunset together promises a happy life ahead till the last breath. Do you agree?” He bent down his face to smell the floral fragrance coming from the beauty in his hold. “Hmm… If I have known that watching the sunset will guarantee a happy life with you, I would have had already dragged you to watch the setting

“Are we there yet?” Audrey asked while being guided by Shane somewhere outside the house. The actor came back in the evening with a bright face. He surprised her with a hug and kisses while she was preparing dinner. Thankfully, it was a weekend and Audrey didn't need to go out for work. Furthermore, she could spend more time with her fiancé which boosted her mood tenfold. She was so happy that she forgot about the 'pregnant' dilemma she had after the housekeeper mentioned something about it.“Almost there,” Shane replied as he held her hand by the hand. He made her wore a blindfold to add spice to his surprise. “Be patient, baby. There's no need to rush,” he continued.Audrey may not be around the house every time unless she got no plans during her week offs and had to stay home if not visiting at Nathan's place to have a ch

The white ceiling in Lucy’s office was always boring but somehow, Shane took an interest in it and even stared at it the whole time since he entered his manager’s office. The actor chose to face the ceiling rather than looking at Lucy’s fuming face. If was born with a talented hand, he could have already drawn her cartoon version with the smoke-like effect coming out from her nostrils. He was thinking about how his manager would look like when he heard him call his name in her infamous low voice.“Shane,” Lucy mumbled his name slowly and with an accuracy of the sound of every letter containing his name. “What do we do now?” Her tone remained the same though her voice went lower than before. Shane could guess, Lucy was in a not so good mood.A month ago, he did something on his own without telling his manager again. Just

She chuckled when she remembered how she pulled it off until it turned red though she was glad it wasn’t swollen.“Good morning,” Audrey greeted with a smile when Shane opened his eyes. His dark brown irises were always fascinating. They were like magical crystals that drew her in whenever she looked at them. “I love you,” she mumbled and moved closer to kiss him on the lips. An awkward silence filled the car while Shane was driving home. He would throw glances at Audrey who kept wearing a serious face that terrified the other. The trip was long and the actor wished he could make the car sprint to the villa just so to avoid Audrey’s occasionally cold gazes. After what happened back in the restaurant, Shane suddenly felt intimidated. Why not? Audrey effortlessly beat him almost to a pulp. If not for Nathan and Francesca’s interruption, pulling Audrey away from him, the actor would be less than admirable with his bruises. Well, he didn’t blame Audrey a bit. He was aware of her ‘violent’ side beforehand. After all, he earned a kiss from her in advance. It was more than sufficient for him.“Have you had dinner?” Audrey took the chance to break the silence when Shane was parking the car on the driveway. She took a peek at the time on her digital wristwatch. Sh

Tears welled-up in Audrey’s eyes when she finally saw the man she was longing for after a month which seemed to be years of waiting. Her hands automatically moved to reach out to his face, she caressed him softly with nothing but tears of joy in her eyes.“Shane…” Audrey called out his name again. She blinked her eyes several times to make sure she wasn’t dreaming but her tears just blurred her sight instead. Shane wiped her tears with his thumb and smiled at her. “Shane,” Audrey whispered. She had a lot of things to say but her mouth didn’t want to cooperate with her. All she could mutter was his name and it had been three times since she called him out.“Yes, baby. It’s me, I’m back,” was what Audrey heard him say. The lady still couldn’t believe her eyes, but she was genuinely glad to s

It had been a month since the last time Audrey saw Shane in person. She was missing him so much though she couldn’t lift her phone to dial his number nor compose a message. Her long face became her everyday mask. The staff in the restaurant were never tired of cheering her on. Not that she wanted to worry them, she could still do what she had to. And her current situation was something she had to face alone. She decided to trust Shane and while she was at it, Audrey thought it would be wiser not to bother the actor in the meantime. Calling him should be easy for her but who knew? Her action might cause him more trouble. She decided to wait, and she would endure it how long it may take.“Auddie, aren’t you going to take a break? You can let Nathan take your place for a while. You need to eat,” Francesca who became more talkative than usual said. She rarely talked in Italian thus the others could easily

The function hall was filled with media reporters coming from all over the city with their crew in tow. It was late in the evening, yet they couldn’t miss the rare opportunity to be present during one of the celebrity’s press conference. Not when it was about his personal life which people were more curious about.Camera flashes stopped and the hustling of the crowd slowly went down when the superstar and movie king, Shane Vargas stepped on stage. He was wearing the same suit he had when he attended the movie premiere earlier. With his inborn beauty and appeal, he took over everyone’s attention.
