The door to my room was like the gate on our backyard at my old house. I was nervous about going in and seeing Madison again. It was hard to get myself to move. I could see through the lattice work at the top. She was there.
Madison sat in a lawn chair. The place looked like the backyard of my house. Everything was exactly as it had been a year ago. She knew how much I loved sitting out there and watching everything. It made me smile that she was still thinking of things like that.
