Daemon was sitting peacefully on his throne when he received a tip off from the scouts about a spy or traitor trying to sabotage the peace in his territory. The scouts reported that the traitor was a spy from the human clan pretending to be a demon. They tracked that traitor to a village on the outskirts of The Capital. Having a deep hatred against humans, Daemon decided to find this traitor and interrogate him or her. And by interrogate, you know it's not going to be anything good. Not especially when you get on the nerves of the Demon Emperor.

Daemon used the excuse of helping the poor villagers to improve their lives. He had to do so to avoid suspicions from the other demon lords within the Capital. Those lords were nothing but busybody and with ulterior motives. Plus, Daemon had another idea. He needs to help the villagers out of the drought. Although ruthless and wicked, he still needs to earn himself a good reputation if he wants the support of the people.

On the outskirts of The Capital laid the Forbidden Forest, known for its reputation of people entering but never coming out.

Some would hear screams and ghostly cries near the forest. Others spotted ugly beasts and a beautiful woman in a thin satin dress. Legend has it that the woman lost her baby during birth and because of her obsession, she kidnaps other people's baby.

Daemon saw the Forbidden Forest as nothing scary of such sorts. He had experience things much worse and he wasn't going to let his fear get the worst out of him.

As he was walking through the forest, he heard sounds. Footsteps! Running fast. His battle instincts took over and he ran after the footsteps. He heard a horrible roar of a beast.

Ragnir beast, Daemon said mentally. He knew this beast all too well. The last one he met tried to eat him but it end up getting it's head chopped off.

He found the dead body of the Ragnir beast. A single arrow shot to it's eye seemed to be the only thing that killed such a large beast. Daemon wondered, who's so skilled to kill it? At that moment, he heard footsteps ahead. Running away from him. That must be the culprit, Daemon smiled mentally. He ran very fast and caught up with the culprit.

He had never expected it to be human girl. A human girl! Can he believe it!? To be the one to kill a Ragnir beast by herself? No normal human being has the abilities to kill a Ragnir beast. But there she was, standing right in front of him pointing a rather small dagger to his face. Mentally, he made a face. Such small dagger. How will it hurt him? CAN it even hurt him? He laughed but he didn't let her see it.

"Who are you?! Why are you following me!?" The human girl demanded.

He noticed her left hand was holding an unloaded crossbow by her side. It was her, no mistake. This human girl has such guts to actually stand in his way! That's something new for him and it piqued his interest.

He decided to intimidate her a bit, give her a scare. His eyes roamed her body hungrily. She was quite beautiful despite the messy looking state she was in. He had to have her, kidnap her, and then he'll finish her off. She was a human being after all, a race he couldn't tolerate. So he grabbed her and throw her over his shoulders despite her relentless cries and struggles.

"Put me down! You bastard! Shameless dog! Vile man!" Victoria kicked and punched as he carried her over his shoulder like she's some prize he'd just won from a contest.

He kicked open the doors to a sleeping chambers and dumped her on the bed. The bed bounced under her weight. She quickly get up and tried to run past him but he was quick. He grabbed her arm with lightning speed and again, tossed her back to the bed. She tried to get up and run away but he blocked her only escape route. He grabbed her by the neck, his sharp claw ring threatening to pierce her slender neck if she moved. She stopped struggling, a look of fear crossed her face.

"Shut. Up. Or I'll break your neck," he said menacingly. Victoria had no choice but to obey. She gulped, nodding her head in obligation.

He stared into her green eyes. Victoria didn't falter or turn away. She stared back. She wanted to remember the face of the man who would kill her. Would he? Or would he do something else to her? A thought crossed her mind when she realised that she was lying on a bed. No! Not with a perverted stranger! She cried out mentally. She rather die than let some man take her virginity away.

"You have beautiful eyes." He said.

Victoria was stunned. What? What did he just said? She didn't reply but return his stare. She didn't expect him to compliment her eyes. His fierce hazel eyes were dangerous but hot, Victoria noted to herself. He was handsome and manly, and that's what pulled Victoria to get attracted to him. But he wasn't a good man. How can she like him, her kidnapper?

"It is a pity though," he said.

"Why is it a pity?" She blurted out. She sure had guts to speak to him.

"That you are human," he leaned in close to her ear, his breath burning her skin. Victoria's face became red. He was so close. So damn close! She cursed. If he dares to come any closer, she'll have to slap him.

But he didn't. He gave her a smirk and said ," Stay put, little bunny. I'll come back to find you."

The man walked away from her and exited the sleeping chambers, ordering the servants to guard her and lock the doors. Once he was out of sight, Victoria let out a breath she didn't realize she had been holding in.

She sprang up from the bed hastily.

Little bunny? She wondered. She looked at herself in a mirror hanging on the wall and realized her clothes were white in colour and frilly. She scoffed at her unruly image in the mirror.

She then began searching around the room for a chance to escape. Other than the window that overlooked the west side of the palace, there was no other way to leave this room. But she'll need a very long rope to scale down. She noticed something about the room she was locked in, it was big, grand with gold and silver furniture and bright red curtains. Her kidnapper was no ordinary man!

She needed to escape, to survive, to find her brother. But how? She began to generate all types of plans to escape from this hell hole.

She didn't escape from her hell hole (her house) just to end up in another hell hole.

But what she didn't know....

There was no way out of this hell hole.

  • The Demon King's Human Bride   Her Dear Brother

She blinked back the tears from her sweet childhood memories. Her eyes were red as she dropped the sword to the ground beside him, letting it clatter loudly. "Where is he? What happened to him?! You know his name," she gasped. She squatted down to his level, clutching her dress tightly to contain her worries. Thoughts ran amok in her head. She feared the worst that her brother was either severely injured or half-dead. "He was here, three years ago," He said, his voice soft and low. "But he left afterwards. I knew, he was a human yet I befriended him," He paused. He had a nostalgic look in his blue eyes. "We were the best of friends," She found it hard to believe. Based on what she know about demons, they hate and want to kill every human they come across. Why, even that asshole Daemon said so himself. Between the human race and demon species, there was only war, hatred and bloodshed. Friendship was out of reach. "That's impossible!" She shook her head. Humans and demons are enemie

  • The Demon King's Human Bride   She's Not Elijah

Harvey decided to take a stroll outside to help himself think better and to stretch his muscles. He didn't know what Jacinda was planning or what evil intentions she might have. And how did she know about his past? How in the world did she know what he had wanted, craved for many years? Could she read minds? No, he thought it impossible. She can't read minds. She's not Elijah. This woman was hard to guess and hard to read. Perhaps she had been doing or collecting information about him. What a scheming smart woman. He would have taken his hats off for her. The moment he set foot outside, a rush of fresh air hit his lungs with a pang. He didn't know he'd been inside his palace for so long that he forgotten the sweet scent of fresh air. He inhaled the sweet air, letting his shoulders lose, relaxing his body. The Dark Forest was the quietest forest to him. It wasn't far from his palace and hardly anyone passed through it. People had been scared off by its rumours of ghosts, man-eating

Daemon had unknowingly rode into the Dark Forest. And he didn't know what dangers are waiting for him up ahead. His black horse whinnied in fear as it started to panic. The forest was covered with an unusual thick fog that seems to circulate throughout the entire forest. He couldn't see anything nor take precautions. Silently, he hoped that Mighell was safe and sound. "What's wrong, boy?" He bent over to look the horse on the eye. He tried stroking it's fur to calm it down but to no avail. Something was spooking his horse and it was something he couldn't detect. The horse suddenly jerked, threatening to throw him off and it began to pick up speed, galloping faster and faster. "Whoa! Slow down, Salomon!" He shouted over the wind. "Slow down! What's wrong!?" But his horse didn't respond. It was acting weird. His horse had never been this way before. It had basically followed Daemon through his journey - his journey to who he is today. He heard a swoosh of wind coming from behind hi
