"Sorry Acacias but before you start saying anything, is this still my bedroom? Are you really in my bedroom? Can anyone passing hear me talking right now?" Amelia asked as it finally dawned on her that someone could walk by and overhear their conversation by chance.

"If you're afraid that someone is going to hear you talking to me, worry not my dear cause this isn't even the real world. Your body is still in your room but your soul is with me," Acacias responded and Amelia didn't know whether to be thankful or to be freaked out.

"Ok so what is this solution that you spoke about earlier? I honestly haven't a clue what is going on at this point and I desperately need answers," Amelia said.

"If you have any questions, go ahead and ask me and I'll try my best to explain things to you as clearly as I can," Acacias said and Amelia started to take a mental note of everything she was curious about.

"I have a lot of questions to ask but I'm going to start with the one I think is most im

Isabel tapped her feet impatiently as she waited for Adrian to finally show up. She had been standing by the hallway for over ten minutes now and there was still no sign of him anywhere. She tried not to think too much or anything but she couldn't help but feel like he had probably forgotten his promise to her and that she was only wasting her time waiting for him.For some reason, she was eagerly anticipating that he did not forget and was hoping that he would show up because she really wanted to talk to him and also get a grip on what she was actually feeling. She had run into him the previous day and when they spoke, she mentioned to him that the fortress had been really suffocating for her because she hadn't even gotten the chance to go out and even explore the place a little bit.She had only mentioned this to him to

"When was the last time you even thought of coming in here?" Isabel questioned as soon as she walked into Adrian's old house. The first thing that hit her was the musky smell that made it obvious that the place had not been used in years. She could already tell by the creaking sound of the door earlier that the place was pretty old but she didn't think it'd look so dead on the inside."I haven't had any business being here in the last eighteen years," Adrian responded nonchalantly and his response didn't sit well with Isabel at all."What exactly do you mean by you haven't had any business here? Do you even have to? From what you mentioned earlier, you grew up in this place and you lived here with your mother so I would expect you to at least visit here once in a while whenever you wanted your alone time

Amelia sat with her legs crossed as she waited patiently for Adrian and Isabel to arrive. She had already informed one of the servants to go and relay her message to them and let them know that she wanted to see them and Adrian had asked her to wait for him at his office while he was away attending to a few issues. She already knew that he was going to take a while to get back so she was ready to leave patiently for him but what she did not understand was why Isabel had not yet arrived when she was literally just ten minutes away. The reason why she was very anxious about speaking to them was because she was finally going to explain everything that Acacias had told her to them. She wasn't very certain about how they were going to react to what she was going to tell them because the fact that she was about to explain to them that a moon spirit had told her everything that she was going to say to them meant that it would to be very difficult for them to believe her and she had no idea

"I know this is probably going to sound unbelievable to you but, I happened to find out the reason why Ryan is the way he is," Amelia said and Adrian immediately furrowed his brow in confusion. He thought for a split second that he had heard wrong because what he heard made no sense at all but judging by the look on Amelia's face and the look on Isabel's face, he realised that he may have actually heard correctly after all. "Wait a second Amelia, did you just say that you know why Ryan is the way he is?" he asked for clarification. "Yes Adrian, that is exactly what I said," Amelia confirmed, earning an amused look from Adrian. "You realise that what you're saying is pretty serious, right? You have to be very certain about this cause it's not something to take very lightly. I have been looking for answers for almost twenty years and I would be a little bit crushed if this turns out to be just another instinct that you have," Adrian told her honestly and he meant every word he sai

"According to what the moon spirit had told me, she had explained to me that the reason why Ryan was the way he was, was because of the fact that he was born on the day of the blood moon festival. She confirmed to me that the rumours were actually true and that children born on the day of the blood moon festival are most likely going to be born with a curse and they are not going to live normal lives because of the fact that the blood moon festival is an occasion that is very auspicious and that evil spirits usually roamed around during the blood moon festival," "She also explained to me that Ryan's curse was not like he was carrying a personal curse but it was more like he was carrying the curse of the evil spirit that lives in him currently. The spirit's name is Rakani and apparently, it is an evil spirit of anger and that explains Ryan's weird anger issues. Like I said earlier I know that everything I am saying right now sounds absolutely ridiculous but this is exactly what she t

Ryan wandered around aimlessly as he had absolutely no idea where he was headed. It was almost as if he was stuck in a place where he just kept going round and round in circles without even realising it and at this point, he was getting very sick and tired of just walking around and getting to absolutely nowhere. His body did not feel tired because even though he had been walking around for such a long time without rest, it felt as if his body was not in the least bit affected by his aimless wandering and he just didn't feel any sort of pain or tiredness at all. Instead, it was his mind that was feeling very tired of the entire situation. He had been walking all about without an actual destination at all and his mind was starting to realise that he was never actually going to find a place to call his destination and that he was always going to keep walking around in circles for absolutely no reason at all. Once in a while, he would have flashes of the people that were in his life a

Isabel woke up as soon as she felt a hand tap her lightly. She expected to see Amelia in front of her since Amelia was the only person who could have barged into her room so late at night but to her surprise, it wasn't. She looked around to see who it was but was met with the presence of absolutely no one. "Who's there?" she asked as fear gripped her. When no one answered, she made up her mind that she was probably just imagining things that wasn't true and attempted to go back to sleep but not until she felt her hand tap her again and this time, she jumped out of bed with her heart beating very fast. "I said, who is there? Where are you hiding?" she questioned with her eyes scanning every corner of the room. Now that she thought about it, she realise that no one could even walk into her room by this time of the night because not only does she always lock her room before she went to bed and make sure it was locked properly, she also knew that it couldn't be Amelia because Amelia wo

Acacias sat patiently as she watched Adrian sleep. For the same reason she had appeared to Isabel, she was appearing to Adrian but she decided against waking him up immediately and chose to just watch him sleep for a while because of how tired and worn out he looked even in his sleep. She knew that deep down, he was going through a lot both physically, emotionally and mentally and she couldn't help but pity him. Unlike everyone else, Adrian didn't really have anyone to talk to or vent his emotions out to and Acacias knew that he also had a lot going on just like everyone else but because of the fact that he was their go-to person, he didn't think he could talk to them about how he felt and most of the time, he would simply dismiss his worries and his problems and focus on helping others instead. After almost an hour of watching him sleep, she finally decided it was time for her to wake him up and speak to him about the reason why she was here and she also decided she would also ta

A Month Later It's been a little over a month now since Camille used the spell to get Rakani out of Ryan's body. Amelia was relieved that everything went well and that nothing happened to Camille but Ryan had still not recovered and he was still unconscious. Camille had explained to her that the reason why Ryan was still unconscious was that his energy had been drained from trying to always dominate the spirit that was in him and if she hadn't sent Rakani out of his body much quicker, I would have most likely lost his life. She had told Amelia to be patient and Amelia was trying very hard to remain patient and positive but she was getting really worried now since a month has passed and Ryan was still in the same condition. Leandro had been the one taking care of him but even Leandro said the same thing that Camille said and Amelia had no other choice but to believe in their words and hope for the best. "I completely understand that you're worried right now Amelia but I don't

Camille sighed. After over an hour of trying to perfect it, she had finally come up with the perfect spell that would kick Rakani out of Ryan's body but won't release him from Alisa's spell. After Amelia and Adrian explained things to her, Camille finally understood everything and when she was told again that she was Alisa's descendant, she realised that she had the power to release Rakani and that was why he had made no attempt to hurt her earlier. "Did you check? Is he awake?" she asked Adrian. "No, not yet," Adrian answered and Camille sighed. "Good then. We don't have that much time and we need to move now before he wakes up. All I need you to do is make sure that I'm not interrupted because getting Rakani out won't be easy at all and any little interruption can disrupt the spell and cause trouble. Just keep watch and make sure no soul passes by. Is that understood?" Camille instructed and all three of them nod their head in understanding.Amelia waited outside patiently for C

"I'm trying very hard not to jump to any conclusions right now but you just mentioned something about using a spell on Adrian and I just want to confirm if what I heard is true or if my imaginations are just playing games with me," Amelia said as calmly as she could. She was very sure that she didn't hear things but she wanted to confirm from Camille herself because what she had heard just didn't make any sense at all. "You didn't hear wrongly Amelia and yes, I used a spell on Adrian to get him out of the room," Camille replied and Amelia's jaw dropped. "Hold on a second, are you trying to tell me that the witch that we've been looking for all this while has been you?" Isabel asked, wanting to confirm for herself. She was feeling very confused right now because it made no sense to her that Camille was the witch that they were after but at the same time, it didn't seem to be a completely ridiculous outcome. She would have never thought that Camille was a witch but she also didn't t

"So now that someone amongst us has gotten hurt, doesn't this mean that the witch is going to have to show herself sooner or later?" Isabel asked, directing her question at both Adrian and Amelia who just regained consciousness. "Well, that is what we expect to happen but we can only wait and hope to see how all of this is going to play out. I believe that the witch is going to show up sooner than we think because even when it seemed like things were going downwards for us, Ryan or should I say, Rakani miraculously woke up and did what he did to Amelia and that could only mean that the witch is going to show herself soon," Adrian responded and Isabel sighed. "I honestly can't wait for her to show up and for us to get this over with because all of this is just sickening at this point," Isabel hissed in frustration. "Are you okay, Amelia? Do you feel better now?" Isabel asked and Amelia groaned in pain. She wasn't feeling okay at all and her head felt like it was going to split open

"What did you just say?" Camille asked as she wanted to confirm whether or not she had heard wrong. "I really don't think I said anything that too difficult to understand, little witch. I'm offering you your friend's life and in exchange, you going to break the spell and set me free from this body," Rakani responded. Camille chuckled. The fact that Rakani was asking her to break the spell made her realise that he was definitely not as strong as he was trying to make her think and that there was a possibility that the spell could work on him and that she would be able to knock him out until she's able to come up with a way to get Ryan out of him. "I don't know how you think witchcraft works but just because I'm a witch doesn't necessarily mean that I can break every spell out there. Whoever is behind the spell that you're under is a very powerful person and I doubt a little witch like me can do anything to help you break out of the spell. You're bound to that spell forever and only

Camille heard a strange noise from Ryan's room on her way there and she quickly ran in to see what could have caused the noise. As soon as she walked in, the first thing that she noticed was that Ryan was already on his feet and when her eyes went to the other end of the room, she saw Isabel and Adrian beside Amelia and she immediately noticed that Amelia was unconscious. "What exactly is going on here?" she questioned and when Ryan turned to face her, she noticed that his eyes were red and that was when it dawned on her that the person in front of her wasn't Ryan but the evil spirit that she had met in Ryan's head earlier. "Adrian, Isabel, I need you both to get out of here right now and take Amelia with you," she demanded and Adrian frowned. He couldn't understand why Camille would be asking them to leave especially when she could also be in danger if she remained here. "I'd prefer it if you took Isabel and Amelia with you instead and I'll stay here to try to calm Ryan down and

"So what are we going to do now?" Isabel asked, breaking the silence in the room. "I don't know. There isn't much that we can do besides just wait and see how all of this is going to turn out. To be honest with you, I can't think of anything else at the moment and I just feel like we need to exercise patience and allow fate to play things out," Adrian responded and Isabel scoffed I'm disbelief. She was already finding the entire situation ridiculous at this point because she just couldn't understand why things just weren't going their way. They had waited for the spiritual mother to come around and when she finally did, she instructed them that somebody would have to get hurt for the witch to show herself and they already made up their minds that somebody was going to get hurt and that the person would get hurt in Ryan's hands and now, all of a sudden, the person that was supposed to hurt one of them was suddenly unconscious and they couldn't even come up with anything else to do b

"I got caught Leandro and that's why I couldn't stay with you. Before we met, there was a town I usually go to whenever I needed to get away from my uncle and the stress of having to train myself to become a third in command. The town is mostly occupied by humans and I considered it as my safe space away from my life as a werewolf but during one of my visits to that town, I met an elderly man and he turned out to be a werewolf just like me. As you know, I don't usually trust people easily but since he seemed harmless, I became friendly with him and he and I grew closer during my stay in town," "Long story short, I was foolish to have trusted him. He got into trouble with rogues and I tried to help him but in the process, I exposed my abilities and he saw me. I told him to keep it a secret and pretend like he never saw anything and I expected him to do just that but that was until I found out that he was the Alpha of the Dark moon pack. He started to blackmail me by threatening to exp

"If you want me to talk to you, then you and I have to go to a more private space because anyone could walk past this place and overhear our conversation," Camille said to Leandro and he nodded his head in agreement because he knew that it was risky to stay in such an open space and talk about such a delicate topic. Leandro had a lot to say to Camille because of what had happened between them over the years and also because of what happened the last time he had seen her. After finding out from Camille that she was a witch, he honestly didn't know what to think at first because it all just sounded crazy to him and when she told him that the poison Jarred had in his system was something that she had made herself, he was completely furious and without thinking twice about it, he threw Camille out of his house and told her to never come back. Camille and Leandro headed towards Adrian's office which was the closest and safest place they could talk without worrying about someone overheari
