She had been standing by the hallway for over ten minutes now and there was still no sign of him anywhere. She tried not to think too much or anything but she couldn't help but feel like he had probably forgotten his promise to her and that she was only wasting her time waiting for him.
For some reason, she was eagerly anticipating that he did not forget and was hoping that he would show up because she really wanted to talk to him and also get a grip on what she was actually feeling. She had run into him the previous day and when they spoke, she mentioned to him that the fortress had been really suffocating for her because she hadn't even gotten the chance to go out and even explore the place a little bit.

"When was the last time you even thought of coming in here?" Isabel questioned as soon as she walked into Adrian's old house. The first thing that hit her was the musky smell that made it obvious that the place had not been used in years. Amelia sat with her legs crossed as she waited patiently for Adrian and Isabel to arrive. She had already informed one of the servants to go and relay her message to them and let them know that she wanted to see them and Adrian had asked her to wait for him at his office while he was away attending to a few issues. Ryan wandered around aimlessly as he had absolutely no idea where he was headed. It was almost as if he was stuck in a place where he just kept going round and round in circles without even realising it and at this point, he was getting very sick and tired of just walking around and getting to absolutely nowhere. Acacias sat patiently as she watched Adrian sleep. For the same reason she had appeared to Isabel, she was appearing to Adrian but she decided against waking him up immediately and chose to just watch him sleep for a while because of how tired and worn out he looked even in his sleep.
