CONFESSIONS

“Six years ago I met a woman named Cara, I treated her sister in the ER and we hit it off. At the time my friends- everyone you saw at my parent’s house in LA that day, and I was inseparable. When I met Cara, naturally I introduced her to them first and according to me, they hit it off but little did I know, behind the scenes they hated her. We were dating for almost a year when we all planned to go on a trip, Cara couldn’t come so it was just the rest of us.” He sucked in a deep breath and continued.

“Cara had mentioned on and off a few times things that my friends said to her, sly comments which I wrote off as jokes, but that trip is what changed things. I was laying on a pool chair out in the yard that day when Amelia suddenly sat in my lap and started talking. I had every intention of pushing her off
