Chapter 6 Gathering

Lawrence stared at me expressionlessly. "You hurt your interests too, you know that? Did love make you stupid? You lost nearly 150 million dollars, and all just for Jonathan and Harold. Do you have nothing inside your head?"

I raised my eyebrow. "You need to keep up with the news. I've sold my shares, so you're the only one who lost money, not me."

Three days ago, while Lawrence was showing off his love for Melissa, I asked my sister, Rachel Trail, to sell my shares to Donald Lawson, the second biggest shareholder of the company.

I took my mother's maiden name, while my sister took our father's name. No one would think we were related. Since I rose to prominence because of infamy, I put my shares under my sister's name in case it hurt the company.
