Everything Anya said sounded logical. She even used the example of herself having drunk the pomegranate juice, so Lucas found it impossible to point out any holes in her argument. His suspicion of Phoebe did lessen somewhat after that.

Corinne chuckled softly. "Miss Anya, have you forgotten how you ran to the bathroom to throw up all the pomegranate juice after drinking it?"

Anya's eyes flickered. She frowned and forced herself to suppress the rising anger inside of her before she looked at Corinne pitifully.

"Corinne, I'm starting to think you enjoy putting our family in a mess. Do you have proof that I threw up the pomegranate juice? Can't I go to the bathroom when I need to relieve myself?
