"Mister Jeremy," greeted Edmund with a bow. "Mister Lucas had asked me to return your car and to convey his gratitude to you for lending him the car yesterday. If not, he and Miss Anya would be stuck waiting on the Yonder Bridge for at least two hours or so for someone to get them."
