Pythia POV:
Alley and Stephen were saying words to each other and I didn't have time to waste, I reached for my bag causing a little noise before I snatched my bag and threw it down at him, smoke quickly filled the air and screeches from those vampires rang out, what a horrible noise. I jerked my head towards Alley when the smoke started to clear, "Open the shield now! We have a few hours tops!" I yelled, I could see Stephen tense as eyes looked up at me "Jeremy now!" Alley screamed out and more growls around me erupted before shit hit the fan, I jumped out of the tree as well as the others, I landed on the back of a wild looking vampire. I quickly pulled the stake from my boot and launched it into his back piercing his heart. We fell to the ground and as I stood I looked around to see utter chaos. I ran to the closest thing I could get my hands on which turned out to be one of my own people, not that I knew him all that well. "Pythia you dirty bitch. Killing your mother wasn't enough?" Balton snapped. "No, I should have started with a rat like you." I snapped back "Balthakk!" I yelled and watched his body fly backwards. I stomped towards him only to be tackled to the side. I hit the ground first and rolled to the side, I stuck my hand out to grab onto the ground to gain some balance. I lifted my head to see two of the most ugly looking vampires I think I have ever seen and Balton. They tried to circle me but I backed away to keep them all within my line of sight. The last thing I needed was for one of them to get behind me.
Alright three on one isn't exactly saying my odds are the best but it'll be hard to take me down. Balton smirked at me, "Insigna"! Balton shouted. Fuck! I held my arms up "Seraphim!" I yelled portraying my own shield, Balton took a step back eyes wide. "How?" I smiled and tilted my head to the side, before I could say anything those damn dirty vampires bum rushed me. I dodged one fist only to be hit in the rib cage by another. I felt the air leave my body for a split second. I hunched over to grab my stake connecting it to one chest, the other screeched and went into a frenzy. "Insigna!" I shouted and took steps backwards to watch as the vampire came to life in flames. I ran towards Balton who tried to run away from me. "Oh no you don't! Sheol!" I shouted. His body fell to the ground as the shackles wrapped around his body and tightened until it dug in to his flesh. He screamed in pain but I didn't care, he turned on his own coven for power he knew would kill us all. I walked away from him just as the shackles tightened hard enough to rip through his body and pieces of him laid everywhere. I scanned my surroundings and I noticed one of the Lunas was being backed into a corner. Shit what was her name? She was using fire, Emma! That was her name and I needed to help her, I quickly teleported to her side. "Pythia! Thank goddess, I could use some damn help." She grunted out.
"Well good thing I seen you then." I replied setting my eyes on the ones who stood in front of me, Emma kept backing them up but slowly we were getting surrounded. An earth shaking growl erupted and a huge wolf tore his way towards us. "Devin! I told you to get out of here!" She shouted at the large wolf who growled at her. "Fine whatever just don't get burned." She snapped. "Balthakk!" I roared shoving all I could back. Emma shot fire everywhere while her mate tore through anything that got close to her. We were being outnumbered and I can't afford to die, nor have an alpha and luna die. "Emma you and your mate get out of here now!" I shouted. "Not without you! You can't stay here by yourself!" She yelled back. "Fine, I have a blinding mist, once it is in place you need to burn them all with me understand?" I said stepping closer to her. "Yes that will be perfect! Devin get your ass over here!" She yelled, the overgrown wolf huffed at her but listened. I took a deep breath before lifting my arms. "Munnopor!" I roared, watching the mist ooze out like fog. I looked around to see all their eyes had glazed over. "Emma now!" I said, her eyes swirled red and in the blink of an eye fire was rolling off of her as if she was an angry fire. "Now get out of here!" I said running in another direction once bodies started hitting the ground.
The moment my feet started to gain some traction I heard hissing from behind me, I didn't have time to come to a complete stop. I looked over my shoulder to see a newborn vampire hot on my heels, I honestly don't have time for this. I needed to make sure the others were doing okay. I reached down in my waistband and grabbed the knife that I had tucked in there and quickly threw it behind me. I heard screeching before I heard her body hit the ground. I turned back around to see she was lifeless so I snatched the knife from her chest and kept running. Everything was so chaotic and I could see the rogues had started filling in the empty spaces protecting a lot of my witches. I could see Lillith just ahead of me and she was starting to be ganged up on. Just as the first vampire lunged at her I met the second one half way taking him by surprise, not giving him a chance to move before I dig the knife deep in his chest, his body jerked under me and I quickly pulled the knife out and got to my feet to see Lillith had snapped the others neck. "Are you alright?" I asked quickly. "I am fine, thank you." Lillith replied a little out of breath. I heard a few growls behind us and I turned to see two wolves were running towards us. "Stay with her!" I said as I started to run in another direction.
Pythia POV: The last few months have been the most relaxing I have ever had. I completely re-decorated our house with the help of Lucinda. We have taken so many photos and family photos and I wanted to start a complete family wall that could be added on to as the years go by. I was finishing up the final touches in the new nursery even though I knew they probably wouldn't be sleeping alone in here. We even placed a big bean bag thing for Delilah to sleep on. I wanted to go over and check on Beth, she had Spencer a few months ago and we all have been visiting everyday so she didn't have to worry about coming to us. "Delilah is waiting outside." Lucinda said from the door. I laid my hands across my now large belly and turned around. Delilah and I were going to merge today so she could help me through the delivery. Apollo hurt really badly. I couldn't imagine what it is like to have twins but I am about to find out. Alley has been giving me tips and stuff on how to manage two
Pythia POV: The party was starting to calm down and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the humans mixed in with everyone else. Others were letting their wolves out to show that there is nothing to be afraid of. The mayors and council members were very happy to see that we can all live among each other easily without and issues and we have extended our protection to them. We can't always promise that some little disgruntled asshole won't try anything but they felt better knowing they were all protected by us. "I think it's just about time for us to go." Tye whispered in my ear. "Where are we going?" I asked. "You'll find out when we get there. Apollo is going to stay with Ambrosia and Jackson for a few days and then they will bring him to us so we can go somewhere else for a small family vacation." Tye said with a smile. "I'm very curious as to what you have planned up." I giggled. "You two are all set to go." Lucinda said walking up to us. "Are you going to be alright here wit
Pythia POV: I woke up feeling a lot better than I have been the last few days. Apollo was curled up next to me while Delilah was laying at the end of the bed. I quietly climbed out of the bed and walked into the bathroom. I looked in the mirror to see my hair still had the shine from it getting done last night. I wrapped it up and put a shower cap on before I turned on the hot water. I turned back to the sink while the water was heating up to brush my teeth, the day was finally here and I couldn't be more excited. When I was done brushing my teeth I quickly stepped in the shower grabbing my loofah and lathering it with soap. I wonder how the guys night went. I didn't need anyone to tell me that Tye had been trying to secretly check in on me because every time Alleys eyes glazed over I knew who it was. I rinsed off and stepped out of the shower and towel dried myself and slipped on my robe and slippers. I took my shower cap off and let my hair fall down, I picked up my brush a
Pythia POV: I was helping Tye get an overnight bag packed and ready to go. Tonight was the night we had to spend apart, I wasn't really sure what the guys had planned but I know us girls had a full night of pampering ahead of us. "Are you sure I have to leave?" Tye pouted. "Yes I am sure, and I'm pretty sure the twins and Alcide will drag you out of here." I replied. "Alcide has been overly excited about this." Tye said. "Yes, he has only because he hasn't been around much lately and he is family. He's never had that before." I replied easily. After the fight had happened Alcide and his pack went back to their lands to get some normalcy back into their lives. Olivia and a few others went with him to resettle into a new life they wanted to make for themselves. When I called him about our wedding he was more than happy to visit the days leading up to it. We extended invitations to all of the packs and even the close human towns. Our presence has been made and they have been over
Pythia POV: Today was the day we decided to venture out and go to the human mall. We have made good progress with the humans and have allowed them to come and visit our lands. We started building different schools so that all our children could mingle with each other and so far there hasn't been any problems. Beth is close to having little Spencer but she wanted to come anyway. "Are we all ready?" I asked, looking around. We had the kids tucked in their strollers and we were all dressed in comfortable clothes. "I know I am, we have an entire day of planning to do." Ambrosia said happily. "Are you sure it's safe for us to teleport?" I asked, looking at Lucinda. "I promise it is. Now everyone, grab onto each other." Lucinda said with a smile. I had one hand on the stroller and the other hand on Delilah. I was glad she decided to come. She was worried that her size would scare some of the humans but in truth they will have to get used to her if they want to come around. Some of
Pythia POV: I could hear the music playing before we even stepped outside, it was like a soft Jazz tempo, when we walked outside everyone stopped and looked at us before they all smiled and bowed their heads. Part of me felt a little shy at first and I'm not really sure why. They did an amazing job, roots had been pulled to cover all the tables, vines and flowers swirled their way around the roots giving it a gentle look. I looked over to the open field to see a large portion had been created by more roots that built the area to dance around it. Lights hung off of them, vines and colorful flowers were intertwined with them. "Lucinda, this is absolutely stunning." I said hugging her. "I thought it would be something different than what you are all used to. I even brought in human chefs to help cook dinner for everyone." Lucinda replied. "It's a nice touch, they can see how we are." Tye said, hugging her. "I'm glad Alley and Stephen approved of it. They seem to be doing well w
