Tye POV:
I watched the girls walk towards the water giggling and it brought a smile to my face. "I talked with Ambrosia about what happened at the mall so I sent our best trackers to watch the woods." Jackson said with tension in his voice. "What did they find?" I asked, I'm more than curious now. "The humans have been making a secret trail that leads closer to our territories." Jackson replied. That isn't good but it isn't bad. "We have never had an issue with humans so why are we worried about this?" I asked. "Because I have been doing my own research about Ambrosias brother, his past is not a good one even though he says he has changed." Jackson stated. I knew there was something off with him. If Pythia gets a bad vibe it is for good reason. "What is his past then?" I asked. Jackson took a deep breath and
Pythia POV:As much as I wished we could have stayed longer I knew we had to come back, especially for this. This was an important day, everyone was going to get to know each other a lot better. I am excited yet nervous about it. I made sure the Stony and Lillith as well as others would be there to help set up or whatever was needed. I wanted today to go easily so whatever we could do to help with that then that is what we will do. As we pulled back up to the house I could see tables lined up in order, one row had food and snacks while circular tables were scattered out. Each table had six chairs around them with white table sheets with lillies in vases at the center. It wasn't as decorated as I had imagined because let's face it, Tyes mom as well as the rest love to decorate over the top. Tye grabbed the bags and I followed him upstairs, I wanted to shower and clean up so that I looked at least decent. As soon as the door open
Pythia POV:Ambrosia looked at me for a moment, "I think it will be a boy." She said, "Well we will know tomorrow. I am very excited." I replied. As we walked down the stairs and I could start seeing everything I looked around stunned. "We are sorry." and "You're amazing." Balloons were everywhere. I looked around at all the girls who had big smiles on their faces. "We felt really bad about upsetting you." Chloe stated. "It was never our intention to do so." Jasmine said. "Yeah, we love you and we know that you are strong. It was just a lot to take in." Charlotte said, tilting her head down. Alley walked towards me, more like waddled, "Pythia, I can't tell you how sorry we are for making you feel that way. We just worry for you and we don't want you to get hurt." Alley spoke softly. Honestly seeing all of this really touched me. "It's okay, it was an emotional day honestly." I replied. "You know we are going to have your back no matter what. We
Tye POV:I do not like Ambrosias brother at all, the way he made me feel was not something anything good could come out of. I felt how tense Pythia was and that is very unusual for her, she has never wanted to be away from someone so badly before. We let the girls meet up with some other people and I knew Brandon would be watching them which I was thankful for. I scanned my eyes until they landed on Xander. I did not want him out of my sight."If you stare any harder you will burn a hole through him." Stephen said as he walked up. "I don't like him." I muttered. "I can tell, Alley and I will go meet him here shortly, but other than that how is everything going?" Stephen asked. "It seems to be going well. Are you aware of humans?" I asked. "Yes, I am aware. I have been making progress with the human leaders about normalizing the presence of wolves, witches and vampires. Well the good ones anyways." Stephen replied. "Good, we need
Pythia POV:Everything seems to be going smoothly and I have to admit that I am impressed with everything. "How are you feeling my dear?" Tyes mother asked as she walked towards me. "I am feeling okay momma, I'm looking forward to dinner tomorrow." I replied smiling. "I hear we will find out what you two are having tomorrow as well." She said as she rubbed my belly. "We do! I am very excited to find out. What do you think it will be?" I asked. "Hm. I think it is a boy." She replied. "How come?" I asked. "Just a feeling I get, boy or girl I will love no matter what." She replied, smiling at me. "Now don't hog her." Tyes dad said as he wrapped me up in a hug. I giggled at the deathly look she gave him, they were by far the cutest couple ever. "We are looking forward to dinner tomorrow, we haven't really been able to spend much time with you." He said, giving me a sorry look. "We have all been busy but at least w
Pythia POV: My life has never been an easy one, being the daughter of the queen of us dark witches was never easy. My mother did things that I did not agree with but because I was shown no respect she never listened. When Bosch came to us everything within me screamed to run, I mean the man looked like death himself and oozed with betrayal. I did my research on him, he murdered his own mate, his own sister and anyone who got in his way. He is truly a sick fuck, but he made the mistake of telling my mother what he was after and I couldn't allow her to make such a move. It would literally kill us all and that is something I would not allow. Our people deserve to live, not die at the hands of a selfish power hungry monster. It wasn't long I recruited Stony and Lilith, my two closest friends. They have stuck with me through everything and when I told them what was going on they didn't have to think about anything. They knew she was going to take us all down with her and we needed to t
Pythia POV: I knew I could count on him to handle this. "Call everyone to the media room, we need to give them a pep talk." I said before teleporting to the media room. I knew it would take too long so I walked on stage and sat down waiting. Very quickly my witches started coming in and taking a seat, they looked at me with determination in their eyes. When the last of them piled in I cleared my throat. "Now you all know what will be happening and I need to know now if any of you want to back out." I said, my voice echoed in the room but no one moved. "Some of you may die, but if we are smart none of us will. Do not think with your emotions. We all know what will happen. If you don't know then allow me to tell you, if you think with emotions you will lose control of yourself and your powers. We are strong men and women, we will fight in this battle and make the change we all want." I said looking around the room, everyone had cleaned up wearing black on black. "Does anyone have any
Pythia POV: Alley and Stephen were saying words to each other and I didn't have time to waste, I reached for my bag causing a little noise before I snatched my bag and threw it down at him, smoke quickly filled the air and screeches from those vampires rang out, what a horrible noise. I jerked my head towards Alley when the smoke started to clear, "Open the shield now! We have a few hours tops!" I yelled, I could see Stephen tense as eyes looked up at me "Jeremy now!" Alley screamed out and more growls around me erupted before shit hit the fan, I jumped out of the tree as well as the others, I landed on the back of a wild looking vampire. I quickly pulled the stake from my boot and launched it into his back piercing his heart. We fell to the ground and as I stood I looked around to see utter chaos. I ran to the closest thing I could get my hands on which turned out to be one of my own people, not that I knew him all that well. "Pythia you dirty bitch. Killing your mother wasn't en
Pythia POV: This is madness, absolute madness. I felt the sudden pull to a specific direction, my eyes scanned around before a smell hit my nose. What is that? It smells like a lake that you would find in the meadow on a warm spring day. Where is it coming from? Why is my sense of smell acting up like this? I was so lost in my train of thoughts I didn't see the knives that were launched in my direction. One scraped my arm while the other firmly planted itself in my leg. "AH! FUCK!" I screamed and stumbled looking down at the knife. Son of a bitch. I looked up to see a dark witch I didn't know running full speed at me. I tried to get to my feet but I wasn't fast enough, before I knew it we were both on the ground. She flung her fist down at me and connected with my ribs and I heard them crack. Shit. I have to get this fucking knife out of my leg. She delivered hit after hit, each I blocked barely. I reached down and grabbed the handle of the knife and in one swift pull I ripped it fr
