CHAPTER 2

 It was March five 2019. Everywhere was so cold that everybody needed to be waring jackets or wore addition cloth to the one that they put on. Amina came of from her car, wore a very tick cloth which was white in colour and used a tick scarf to cover her neck and entered into her working place, a man at the door opened the door for her and they exchanged greeting.

    Anima was still in U. S and she ha been a term leader in detective work, she had three people under her that they work together and she was very good in detective work, even sometimes her too used to sit down and think about it. She don't believed that she can be good like that in a job that she don't willing to do just do it because of what happened in the past.

    As she got down from the lift want to be going to their office that was when she saw her terms standing outside and looking so worried, she stepped back a little bit, saw their office door locked and faced her term.

"Good morning, what is going on, why are you standing outside and even why don't you open the door by this time?" All of them looked at her and looked at each others. The names of her term are suniaa, she was a lady, Coke and Basit. They are two guys and a lady.

"We don't know why they locked the door and we have asked them, they just abusing us, calling us different names" the lady said with louder voice

"Good morning term leader, what she said is true even we have fight with them" Coke said.

"Yes term leader, they are envy us because we are hand working" Basit said, Amina put her bag on the chair with anger.

"What nonsense is this, they locked the door and also abuse you for what, let me first go and see the boss before anything" she said with anger and want to be going to their boss office when she saw people coming from different direction with different things in their hands and the boss too followed them.

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!!" Singing birthday song, she looked at her term saw them with their gifts too in their hands and singing. She was doing her thirty birthday, so they planed to do surprised for her by starting like that and she was very happy. Their boss ordered one of them to put the cake that he did for her down and opened it, the cake was so beautiful and it was her favourite colour, she was happy.

"Thank you sir, thank you everybody I appreciate it"

"You are welcome" they said in chorus, she was looking at them with smile.

"Don't mention, you are the best in this office and very hardworking, I love someone that do like that" their boss said.

"Thank you very much sir"

"Happy birthday, our term leader" all of them said.

"Thank you, but you surprise me with your drama" she laughed and others too laughed.

"Please after the celebration, see me in my office there is something important to tell you" Their boss said and left.

"Yes Sir, I will come right now" she shouted for him to hear.

"Happy birthday once again, we are going back to our post" a man said and they left.

" wow, am so happy today" the term packed all the gifts and cake that they gave them to their office and her too followed them.

    She dropped her bag on the table and left the office, going to their boss office. Door opened and closed, she entered and sat down on the chair.

"What I want to see you for is that, did you know our new headquarters?"

"Yes I known it, what happened?"

"My boss called me yesterday and ask me to tell you that tomorrow you and your terms should go to that place, that is where you will be"

"Wow!! That place is close to my house, very close"

"Good for you, is you and another lady with her terms from another branch that they transfer to that place because two of you are hardworking, so with what they said two of you will join together as one not that in separate and you will be ruling that place together"

"No problem sir, once that she is a lady like me and hardworking, we will like each other and work very well"

"As you said, so how did you want to do it in packing your loads, you know that is tomorrow so how?"

"May be everybody will pack what he or she have in the office with them today and tomorrow we will meet at the headquarters" 

"That will good then, but we will miss you and your terms"

"We too sir, am going sir" she stood up and left, door opened and closed.

     Her term had been sharing the cake to the people in the branch including the cleaner. Door opened and closed, she sat on the chair.

"Term leader, we have been sharing the cake"

"Okay, it good like that" bring out a bottle from her bag with her food.

"Ma, I should go and bring the rape file"

"Not yet, there is something important to tell you guy" they stopped all what they are doing and sat down on different chairs.

"What the boss called me for is that we are living these place today, we are going to resume to the new headquarters tomorrow"

"Wow!! The new headquarters" suniaa said.

"Am happy, it is very close to my area" Basit said.  "But why is that is we that they choose" Coke said with lower voice.

"You don't want to go because it is far from your place but it pay most of us" Suniaa said, Amina beat her hand on the table.

"Sorry ma, we are very sorry" they said in chorus and looked at each others.

"As am saying, we are going to resume there tomorrow so you guys should pack everything that you have in this office along with you today and let us meet there"

"Okay ma, that mean we are not coming here tomorrow, we are going to resume there"

"Yes Coke, resume there as early as possible"

"Okay ma, we heard you" Basit said.

"And the boss said that another terms from another branch are coming there as well, so we will be working together as one term"

"Another term from another branch, ma"

"Yes suniaa and we will be working as one"

"But they too have there own term leader?"

"Yes they will have, so it is two term leaders that you will have and you with her term will be one, no separation or discrimination"

"We hear you ma and do as you said"

"As Suniaa said, we will work together as one" Coke and Basit said in chorus.

"Good of you, cut the cake for me let me taste it"  "Yes, ma" Suniaa said and stood up.

"After sharing the cake, help me to cut half and wrap it"   "I hear you ma" Suniaa said.

"Two of you, all the files pack them together and put it inside my car if we get there I will work on them. Today no work for us, use it pack all what you have in this office and if they are office things put them inside my car so that I will help you to carry it to that place" 

"Wow!! Thank you ma" Suniaa said.

"She have been thinking on how she will carry all her loads that are here, is this your house see her loads every corner" Basit said, using his right hand to point around the office.

"I don't want to hear that I forget something at the branch, pack everything"

"Yes ma, after sharing this cake I will start packing them or who will help me" Suniaa said.   "Who help you to bring it" Coke said.

"I wonder, see the way am looking at her"

"Shut up two of you, all my loads here is not all of us that use them and now you are talking"  "We don't say that we don't use it but your own loads is too much" Basit said.

"Is this office or home" Coke said.

"What ever you call it, what you don't know is that all these loads that are here have uses, Like last month that we are dealing with a case that we don't go home still next tomorrow evening, is not me that give you food to eat, blankets to cover your body and in the following morning is only me that changed mine cloth and dress nice that others department are asking me that i did not stay with you or I went home"

"It's only that day that all these your loads have useful" Coke said and laughed.

"You are not serious me go and share the cake, I don't have your time" 

"Cake sharing" Coke said, Amina was just looking at them and laughing. Suniaa left the room went to share the cake and entered after some minutes started packing her loads.

      It was twenty past two, Amina arrived to his mother's house, got down from the car and opened the door her brother was in living room watching movie when she entered, they hug each other and exchanged greetings.

  She used to come to mother's house first before going home when she don't busy at work, stayed there still evening even sometimes still night fall. Her and her husband had divorce, so it was her and her daughter named Zara that used to be in the house, so once that her mother's house is not far from her own house she used to come there even in weekend and her brother used to help her to bring Zara home from school when he was coming from work.

"My brother, am so happy today" she said.

"Share with us my daughter" his mother said, coming out from her room with Zara.

"Ah!! Mother, good afternoon ma"

"Afternoon my daughter, how is work?"

"Mother welcome, I miss you"

"Fine ma, I miss you too my daughter"

"Mom, happy birthday"

"Thank you my lovely daughter" his brother put the cake on the table with a glass cup and bring out a wine from the freezer.

"If you see the way they wished me happy birthday at the work today it so funny, as I arrived I saw all mine terms outside and our office door was locked, I asked them that want helped and they told me that it's other department that locked our door also abused them when they asked them why. I have got agreed want to be going to the boss's office when I saw everybody came from different corner singing birthday song, I was like wow!"

"All the people in your working place are so funny" his mother said, pouring wine inside the cup and her mother laughed.

"And also our boss said that me and my term are going to resume to the new headquarters tomorrow and we have packed all our belongs in that branch"

"They have take you to the new headquarters?" Her mother asked.

"Yes mom, we resume to that place tomorrow and he said that another term too is coming to join us there so will join as one"

"The other term are detective as well?"

"Yes, so we will be working together"

"Congratulation, my daughter"

"Am happy for you mom" Zara said.

"Thank you ma, thank you my daughter" Zara was five old and she was in middle school not far from her mother's brother working place.

"What are we using to celebrate it?"

"Celebrate what? If you don't get out" her brother laughed and both of them laughed.

"Mom, which time are we going home?"

"We are not going home today, you see I have packed the cloth that I will wear"

"Oh!! Why don't you tell me now, I don't bring my cloth now what did I want to wear to school tomorrow? Mom"

"Sorry for that, you and your uncle will go home to take the cloth that you ware tomorrow and pack some other things that you need"

"In that case, let us go now" her brother said, taking to Zara and they left the house.

    Amina went to her room to rest after some minutes that they had left, her mother too was in living room watching movie when they arrived, Zara took the load to the room and join them at the living room.
