CHAPTER 35

{AHVI’S POINT OF VIEW}

I go to the dressing room; I take my bag out of my locker and take a few gulps of water. Suddenly, I feel short of breath as I huff and try to take deep breaths to compose myself.

Putting my hand over my chest, I take a seat on one of the benches in the locker room and stare at the floor with a puzzled look.

It was never like this with Rigel. I have had no issue or problem skating with him, why was Shane different? Why can't I bear to be in the same space as him? Even his scent irks me and that’s a much bigger problem since I can't bear to stay in the same room as him. Bella is going to be so furious and Miss Xenia won't like the idea of a new partner.

Deep in thought, I don't hear the sound of looming steps. The door of the dressing room bursts open strongly and Shanes matches in like a storm that makes me lift my head. I let out a gasp of astonishment and jostled up from my seat.

“You can't just barge in here; this is the female’s changing room for god sake!”
