Leo POV

I returned home, the weight of the letter still heavy in my thoughts. Amelia, my fiancée, greeted me with a warm smile as I walked through the door.

Her presence was a balm to my turbulent emotions, and yet, the uncertainty of my newfound revelation weighed on me.

“Hey, Leo. How was your day?” she asked, her eyes locking onto mine, filled with genuine concern.

Taking a deep breath, I met her gaze. “It has been... eventful, to say the least.”

Her brows furrowed, sensing something amiss. “What happened ,You seem different.”

I hesitated, my fingers absentmindedly tracing the edges of the letter still nestled in my pocket. “Amelia, there is something I need to tell you, something I have just discovered.”

As I recounted the mysterious appearance of the letter, the warning from my mother, and the urgent call to the place where all wounds are treated and souls are healed, Amelia’s expression shifted from curiosity to skepticism.

“Leo, this all sounds so... surreal,” she murmur
