Alexis POV

I let out a long, slow breath, feeling a wave of relief wash over me as Khalid finally left the room. For a moment there, I thought he was going to ask me about what I was drawing.

The fear of being caught had sent my heart racing, but now, as I glanced at the closed door, I realized I had been overthinking things.

Khalid hadn’t said a word about my artwork, and I couldn’t help but feel a mixture of gratitude and curiosity.

I had been working on this drawing for weeks, pouring my heart and soul into it. It was a personal piece, depicting my innermost thoughts and emotions.

Sharing it with anyone felt like exposing a vulnerable part of myself, and I wasn’t ready for that. But still, a part of me wondered if Khalid would appreciate it.
