Chapter 50: Hopeful

Everything looks peaceful from here. The outside of the bar was quiet. No one would know anything was going on inside.

I lay down lower at the back seat trying to see what was happening from Lois' car. She had refused to take me with her at first. But I was too persistent. I wanted to go by all means. My heart jumped right out of my mouth when Lois said a fight had broken out at a bar that belonged to the Mo pack because of Evans.

Lois had ran in there not up to ten minutes ago and surprisingly, Evans was already out of there. He was untouched except for his men who got roughed up and a few had visible tears on their clothes.

On seeing Evans, the horror of that night begins to seep into my mind once again. It was like reliving the experience all over again. I wasn't comfortable until Evans drove away from the vicinity with his men.
