Chapter 45- Zane

My mind is blank at first. Then I come to a scene of a little blonde girl in a simple cream colored dress. She must be about ten or so. This must be Sasha. It’s strange to be in someone else’s memories as an observer. It’s like watching a movie while watching it be filmed. It’s strange, and I’m not sure I can compare it to anything else. It must be even weirder for Ari. 

I watch little Sasha go to an altar in her village, where she places offerings to the Five. She prays to them, asking for her village to be protected, for her family to be healthy, and for the happiness of her village. It’s pure, sweet, and innocent. The scene shifts to an older Sasha who is in a clearing. To the right is her village. To the left, it’s a crazy wild forest with dangerous looking mountains.
