Chapter Sixty Five

I fiddled with my fingers for a moment before I looked up at Daniel. I wasn’t sure whether to ask the question that suddenly popped up in my mind or not.

“Um, can I ask you something though?” I licked my bottom lip nervously.

“Go ahead,” Daniel nodded encouragingly.
