''Sylvia is awake.'' Brett said.

That was the first thing he told Remus as soon as he saw him going towards the kitchen, probably to make a hot cup of coffee.

Remus halted in his tracks, making a U-turn to stare at his Beta. He could hardly believe what he just heard and he badly wished that it was true and not some prank or joke he might find funny.

''Are you sure?'' Remus asked.

''Affirmative. The doctor just sent a message to the mansion, Sylvia is awake.'' Brett smiled.

Remus didn't even wait for him to finish speaking before he dashed out of the house. He didn't even know how he was feeling at that moment, he was happy, sad and also angry that he had to go through all of this.
