Once they were seated accordingly, the leader fixed her gaze on Tommy. She didn’t look at Eddie, even though the young boy sat less than three feet away and was unconscious. The leader’s lone eye, blue and wary, shone on him like the limelight. Her face was surprisingly cold-blooded. No emotions were less than what she wanted to convey.

Unlike the other dwellers of the cavern, she didn’t seem angered by Celestina's confidence. Rather, she appeared relaxed and methodical, coolly restricted to get to the core of the issue. After many seconds she turned to the head patrolman.
