23. A Rejection

I sat on my bed, looking at myself in the full-length mirror opposite me. Its been days and I have done nothing but bathe, think about my horrible mate situation and sleep.

Luna Annette has been begging me to eat but I can't. Its even worse when they are at the dining table, I just end up throwing up whatever I ate. Annette will have her Luna ceremony in two weeks because she and alpha Gavin are mates.

I’m emaciating badly and I can see myself going back to the person I was at the Kincaid's. Thin and bony, sunken eyes and worse of all, my long unkept brown hair that is almost reaching my butt.

Knocks are heard on my door and I know immediately who it is. Annette doesn't know what happened as none of us refused to tell her the full story but she has dropped the matter since then. She just wants me to go back to my usual self.
