The hotel

last update Last Updated: 2024-10-17 17:37:52

Mayeli smiled as he followed her to the hotel room they had just booked. It had been easier than she thought.

It hurt her slightly that he didn't remember her, but it made things easier, so it wasn't a problem.

She had heard from her sources that he had an accident that cost his memory, years ago, but a bit of her had still hoped he would know her when he met her.

She unlocked the door of the room, entered inside, and tossed her red channel purse on the table. She listened for his movement behind her as the door clicked shut, and the locks turned.

His arms came to wrap around her waist from behind, pulling her into an embrace, while his lips teased the skin on her neck. For a moment was shocked at the comfort she still felt in his arms and then a shudder ran through her body as he trailed kisses on her neck.

His words came back to her, words from a decade ago.

“I'd love you forever Mayeli, until my last breath”.

She moaned slightly as his hands came to rest on her breasts, squeezing mildly. When she turned to face him, his ocean-blue eyes held curiosity and a hunger so intense that it left her breathless.

“Why do you feel so familiar?” He asked, placing a kiss on her forehead, and taking her arms. She chastised herself for not thinking about the caring gesture. It was only happening because he was drunk, and it would be over before the morning.

“Perhaps you're quite used to being with blondes”.

He let out a dark chuckle, his eyes raking her body.

“Maybe”.

She closed the gap between them and arrested his lips. She had been waiting months for a chance to do this.

He pulled her back for a moment, searching her eyes, before leaning to place a soft kiss on her lips. She moaned, longing for the feel of his soft lips on her's again, and he chuckled, leaning down to kiss her deeply.

His hands explored her body, tugging at the zip of her dress, and setting a fire she hadn't realised she still had, ablaze inside her. Her body shook with the need she felt for him.

He pulled her dress off her body, leading her to the bed, while her hands tugged at his shirt, taking them off. Her fingers paused when she recognised the bold letters scribbled on his chest in italics. “Kaeli”, it read. Kaeli was her middle name. A name only Killian called her.

Tears clouded her vision, but she quickly tucked them away. She didn't want him to recognize her yet, at least not this way.

Her worries were soon forgotten as he took her breasts in his mouth, sending a wave of desire pulsing through her veins.

***

Killian smiled as a gasp escaped her lips when he buried himself inside her. It felt like he was coming home after a long time, and the hands holding his waist and the hips that cushioned his ride felt familiar.

It was as though her body was made entirely for him, just the way he wanted.

He thrust into her faster, pushing his thoughts away, and relishing at the way her moans sent sweet sensations running through him.

“Killian”, she cried as they both came undone.

His body went rigid. He could swear he had heard his name called this way in a past he couldn't recall.

His vision blurred as he collapsed on her, his body filled with both exhaustion and euphoria.

Without thinking, he pulled her into his chest, inhaling her sweet scent as he drifted off to sleep.

“I love you Mayeli”, he mumbled, feeling her go still against his body.

When he woke up to the blinding sunlight streaming into the room, she was gone. A note played on the bed beside him.

“It was the best in forever”, it read.

He stared at the note for a while, a slow smile on his face, for a reason he couldn't fathom, he felt like he just lost something he once treasured yet again.

He struggled off the thoughts, calling his guards to see if they were still out there. He felt a bit guilty for keeping them waiting all night, but it was their duty after all.

When he had confirmed they were still waiting, he headed for the shower. He had a meeting soon, and he hated being late.

He closed his eyes as the water washed the event of last night off his body, just the thought of her naked body against he's sent a shudder running through him. He hadn't felt the way he did yesterday in years, not from any of his numerous expert mistresses.

Should he trail her? Track her down and find out who she was. He let out a laugh, deciding against it. Somehow he knew he had seen her last night only because she wanted to be found, and he could only hope that she would want to meet him again.

Until then, he would forget her. With his busy schedule and the many things he had to amuse him, that would be a very small feat, he convinced himself.

Deep down he knew he would never be able to forget the woman he had taken last night and the unique way she had called his name like it was always meant for her perfect pink, full lips.

The gush of wind that hit her instantly took away any ounce of sleep she still felt.“Have you seen the headlines?” Shaila screamed. Mayeli's eyes narrowed. Her sister was mostly always dramatic, but this was quite extreme.“What is in the headlines?” Mayeli asked, strolling to the bedside table to pick up her laptop. She drew aside her curtains, letting warm sun-ray bath her room through the floor-to-ceiling windows.“I don't think it's something I can tell you over the phone”.
