Chapter 10: Time for Truth

The news reached Hunter in no time. After watching the video clip of what had happened that night, he sat there with a cold expression on his face and did not say a word for a long time.

An hour after the incident, after hours of searching, someone found Emily's Instagram account, with all the posts deleted, leaving only a message she had posted an hour ago: I'm sorry, I was wrong.

Emily had apologized as he wished, but it was a little ironic and ridiculous now in view of all the things that had been revealed.

Joseph stood in front of Hunter's desk. After he finished speaking, he kept his head down, scared to look at Hunter and see the anger that he must have been feeling.

The atmosphere in the office was so oppressive that it was hard to breathe. Hunter's face was literally covered with frost, and his black eyes were as dark as the sky before a heavy rain.

"Get rid of the news within half an hour!"
