At a shooting site, a group of people with different roles to play were gathered around. Noises could be heard coming from that part and also some people were holding their scripts that portrayed the type of role they were going to play. There were also makeup artists that were busy attending to those that needed the transformation. "Alright, everyone, it is the first day of shooting and I believe that we all need to be ready. It is a big day for us all." The director said through a microphone. The actors and actresses turned to look at him and then mumbled something amidst themselves causing a few of them to laugh. "Where is the male lead?" The director asked. He removed his baseball cap as he looked around. He called for the manager and the latter ran to meet him. "Where is Alex?" The director asked. "He is having his makeup done. He will be out in a few minutes, please." The manager responded and quickly left to check on the supposed Alex.He knocked before entering the room. H
"I don't know why my boss had to accept someone like you as his assistant. I am doing a work well done." Ben started complaining. He folded his arms as he leaned against the wall while watching Hera sort out some things on the shelf. The latter however rolled her eyes at the babyish behavior of her 'senior' at work. He had been nagging her since the beginning of the day, clearly expressing his disappointment and anger at having her work alongside him. "Can you at least behave like the senior you are instead of a jobless baby?" Hera called out and Ben gasped. He touched his heart and his face turned ugly. "How dare you say such a thing to me? I am your senior!" "Oh, so now you know that you are my senior." "I don't know why exactly my boss considered taking you in. You are too disrespectful." "You should ask him," Hera answered and walked back to her table with him following her from behind. "Look, you even got a special seat while I work all day under the sun just to make sure
Guys, I am sorry that I swapped the names. I forgot the names. I actually had two files with different names for this book so I kinda swapped it all and I am sorry. That includes:Ella [ Hera's sister ] to be Ruby. I even made a mistake with the Male lead's names. The name from the beginning was Albert but later on I changed it to Young. However, if you followed the story, you would understand how I tactfully change the names to fit in the story. And some others. So please, just go with it. I am sorry. I will let you know when such an error comes up again or you point it out, please.Thank you for reading and supporting this book.
"Hello there, nice to see you here again." Two ladies ran into an embrace and gave each other a peck on their cheeks. They were actresses in the industry as well and they were present at Delilah's birthday party. It was a full moon event and it was taking place inside a hall. Everywhere was crowded and a lot of reporters were there to capture the moment. Long flowing gowns of different sizes and designs could be seen, one was trying to outweigh the others in terms of fashion. There were golden lights everywhere and hip-hop music was blasting through every speaker inside the hall. Chairs were arranged in different sections. A section for couples; A section for three people, four, and then more than four. Some booked only the coupled chair even when they were not official yet but that was their taste. Girls went ahead to greet one another at the event while the guys just talked with themselves before separating. As usual, Delilah always made sure that her birthday would be at the top o
Hera was a bit nervous that she had captured the eyes of the audience. Under her breath, she kept mumbling incoherent words, pushing all the blame on Anna for giving her the advice to go ahead and wear the dress. "Ma'am, can you please raise your head?" One of the reporters shouted to get a good picture of her. Hera had no choice but to do as she was told. "Hold on, isn't that the latest brand of the Young Family? How did she get it?" Someone pointed it out. Then everyone suddenly realized that it was true. Hera was putting on the gown that cost a lot from the Young family. It was a shiny black gown that fitted her properly, it was half-shoulder but didn't expose any of her cleavages however, she had an hourglass figure that outshined the gown. Her makeup was minimal but attractive even though it was done by a professional.Zach stared at her with admiration in his eyes but he quickly looked away and was about to start talking with Delilah when he realized that she had a frown on h
"Ouch." Hera turned her head to her right side in pain. Her head was aching so badly that she almost concluded that it was being used for sacrifice. Her eyes slowly opened to the new environment that she was in. She stared at the ceiling blankly for a few moments before looking sideways. Beside her was the monitor, which meant that her head wasn't used for sacrifice but was banging hard because of something else. She was in the hospital! "Ouch." She mumbled again. Looking at her left-hand side, she saw Zach spiraling across the sofa provided there. He was sleeping and snoring peacefully. His shirt was left unbuttoned but only a few buttons were left undone. What happened? Why was she in bed? Suddenly, she felt the urge to use the toilet. Her head was bandaged and so were some parts of her body but she could still lift herself, bearing the pain as well. She looked at Zach one more time, was she going to interrupt his sleep? No, it would be bad for her to do such a thing. She should
The next morning, the noises from two people woke Hera up. She squeezed her eyes shut due to the sudden brightness but after her eyes had accustomed themselves to their surroundings, she slowly opened her eyes once again only to see Austin laughing at Zach's clueless face. She managed not to make a sound so as not to disrupt their conversation. "What? This is cheating." Zach pouted and Austin scoffed. "No, it's not. I only made you say the figure eighteen without you actually realizing it so I am the winner. Hurrayyyyyyyyy." Austin said joyfully and jumped on Zach who still didn't feel pleased that he was played by a young boy because he knew mathematics. Like come on, he was a businessman who calculated a lot of figures daily. Hera's heart warmed up seeing the interaction between the two of them. The door was suddenly opened and Anna entered with a white plastic bag. She was wearing her usual casual wear; a plain yellow shirt and blank pants. Anything could go with black, this wa
"How is this possible? It doesn't make sense. What about the security?" Blake immediately after they entered Zach's office. The latter took off his jacket and hung it around his chair before sitting down on it. He turned it around to face the desk.Earlier that morning, the news had come in that one of the branches of their businesses was burnt down by some unknown people. It was already on the news and it was badly affecting Zach and his father. They had been receiving calls about it, what they were going to do and what was the next plan. The branch was considered one of the most important parts of the whole Young Corporation. "I don't know. It still doesn't make any sense. The cops are on it and I was told that it doesn't seem that it was bombed. I guess it's from within." Zach answered. His phone lit up and within a few seconds, his father's call came in for the third time. He had purposely ignored his calls because of the pending issue but now, he had no choice but to answer the
