Special Chapter 4

Scene 1:

Eve paced around the living room, hands on her hips, a scowl on her face. Lucas cautiously approached her, unsure of what had triggered the sudden mood shift.

"What's wrong, honey?" he asked, trying to navigate the emotional minefield that was Eve's pregnancy hormones.

"Lucas, I'm craving pickles and ice cream, but we don't have any! How can you not know that I need pickles and ice cream right now?" Eve's tone fluctuated between frustration and exasperation.

Lucas, scratching his head, ventured into the kitchen. "Okay, pickles and ice cream it is. I'll run to the store."

Eve crossed her arms, pouting. "And don't forget the chocolate syrup!"

Lucas returned with an armful of snacks, presenting them to Eve. "Got everything on the list, plus a few extra treats. Is there anything else you need, my pickle-and-ice-cream-craving queen?"

Eve eyed the snacks and smirked. "You're not off the hook that easily, Lucas. Now, I also want a foot massage!"
