Chapter 5

Both Ember and Axle made their way into the restaurant. It was indeed new and beautiful. It had a black crystal floor tile, a white ceiling with white chandeliers that had yellow dim lights on them, there were a bunch of small black and white round tables around which were filled with people. They made their way upstairs to the quiet area that had only one table and nobody was there. Axle pulled out a chair for Ember and sge mouthed thank you sitting down on the chair. After she sat down he went over his chair that was across her from the table and he sat down. "I have already ordered food for us."He said. Ember nodded her head with a smile on her face.

'He really is new to this.'She said to herself. "What if I don't like the food that you've ordered?"Ember asked.

"That's impossible because I have ordered your favorite dishes,"He said.

"Okay. Alright that's creepy, first of all I know nothing about you, it was my first time seeing you last night but you knew my name, then now you know my address and my favorite food. You better start talking before I beat you up."She said.

"Would you really beat up.your own fiancé?" He asked.

"If he is a creepy stalker then yes I would gladly do it."She said.

"Okay, first of all I have known you for a long time. Do you remember the name Axy?"He asked.

"Yeah he was my buddy at kindergarten, but we became separated when his parents moved away from the city so he had to leave too and I never saw him again."She said.

"Axy was my twin brother,"He said. 

"What? Really?"She asked. He nodded his head. "Wait, i knew your twin brother and not you that still doesn't make any sense and what do you mean was your twin brother instead of is your your twin brother?"She asked, Ember and Axy were friends for two years, we'll not really friends, Ember was more like the girl that always saved him from the kids that bullied him. They teased him telling him that his name was a girls' name(even though Ember thought that it was true). She was the one who always knew how to put those bullies in their places abd just like that Axy and Ember started hanging out. But he soon left and Ember was left all by herself and she was unable to contact him, still to this day she doesn't know where he is or what he looks like, but she just thought that he might look like Axle since they are twins.

"Well yes you only knew him, but he used to tell me about you everyday when he came home. He really thought that you were an angel that God had sent to protect him. A day wouldn't go by without him talking about you, so I became interested. I wanted to meet this angel that he kept on talking about everyday so I begged my parents to put me at the same preschool as him but they refused. After a while Axy started suffering from an unknown disease, my parents found a doctor for him.but he lived outside of the city so we had no choice but to take him there for his treatment." Axle sighed, Ember could tell that he didn't want to go on.

"So he didn't make it, right?" She asked and he nodded his head. "But that doesn't answer my first question.''She said. She wanted to change the topic because she could see that talking about Axy really brought back.painful memories for him and it didn't sit well with her. The last thing that she wanted was him crying on their first date. 

"Okay okay I know. I returned to the city eight years ago and I was still interested in finding this angel so I did my research…"Before he could finish Ember cut him off.

"By research you mean stalk,"Ember said. Axle chuckled, shaking his head.

"Okay but not really stalking. I found out all the information that I needed, so then the only left was for me to find you and I did."He said.

"But that doesn't give you a reason to ask me to marry you now when I don't know you."Ember said.

"Well I just fell in love with you at first sight, so I just decided to seize the moment. I didn't want to waste any more time because you never know someone might get the chance to steak you before I do.''He said. Ember still felt like there was something that he was keeping from her. After a few seconds two waitresses came in with their food, and they put it on the table. Axle was not lying it really was her favorite food and that only gave her a reason to think of him as a creepy stalker

They both now started eating their food and chatting. Ember was starting to have a good time, she wished that the moment would never end but just like all good things all must come to an end. Before sge knew it was already 4pm and they were both standing outside the gate of the apartment building that she lived in. "I really had a great time today, thank you.''She said.

"Yeah me too, I am looking forward to seeing you again.''He said and then he leaned closer to her face and he gave a small peck on the lips. Ember was a bit disappointed because she wanted the kiss that they shared at that party last night but she was able to hide the disappointment on her face, maybe he wanted to take things slowly, who knows. I'll call you tonight.``He said.

"Yeah, I'll wait for your call."She said and she watched as he made his way back into his car and then he drove off. 'Dreamy.'She Said to herself. 

"Ember!."She heard someone calling out her name. When she turned around she saw none other than Dean, if things just couldn't go from good to worse with this asshole around. She was ready to kick his balls if he tried anything stupid.
