75. Getting Rid of Problems
Ansel paced back and forth, thinking about Audre. That girl was just supposed to be having fun, but now she got herself wrapped up with some boy. He keeps telling her boys bring trouble, but she never listened.
"Would you stop pacing? You are making me nervous," Elisa said.
"Audre ran into trouble with some of the counselors. I knew I shouldn't have let her join that stupid camp!" Ansel said irritably.
Elisa looked concerned. "Is she okay?"
"She is fine. Apparently, some guy saved her and got himself kicked out from the camp, and now she wants me to help him," Ansel said.
"Aww, my baby finally got her first boyfriend," Elisa gushed.
Ansel stopped pacing and glared at her. "No! She is not allowed!" he declared.
"You stop it. She is a grown woman. Pretty soon, she'll leave here and get her own place. You can't keep an eye on her forever, you know," Elisa said. Ansel glared at her in response.

It has been a few days since Aleks arrived at home and he was miserable. Audre's innocent face kept lingering in his mind. He missed her. Maybe he should sneak into the camp at night and secretly meet her. He shook the idea away from his head as it could cause more trouble for Audre. She seemed excited to work at the camp and the last thing he wanted was to get her kicked out too. "Peter! Dinner!" his mom Alicia called from downstairs. Blair and her friends stayed away from Audre after Aleks came back. Audre didn't know what Blair told some of the other counselors, but it seemed that they were ignoring her nowadays, isolating her.
