Stephanie was soo surprised when she saw that man again. Wait, she was sure that she'll crash. Her heart is still pounding. She put her hand on his chest and heave a sigh of relief. She was thanking God that nothing happened to her. Someone really wants to kill her! Then she heard another knock on the door and saw him. She went down the car and faced the man.
"You- Aren't you the one who saved me before?" Stephanie asked. The guy just smiled and nodded.
"Yeah. It was me but are you okay, pretty lady?" She blushed because of the way this guy called her. Well, she knows that she's pretty but is this guy flirting with her?
"I'm fine. And don't call me pretty lady, you're making me embarrassed. I'm Stephanie Gray," Stephanie introduced herself and raised her hand for a handshake but the guy only looked at her hand which made her confused. He doesn't want to shake hands? But then after a few seconds, the guy reach for it and looked at her with a smile. She was soo, stunned. The way the guy smile is so angelic that the impurities of the earth haven't reached him.
"My name is Hariel! Nice meeting you- Woah! I am sorry!" Stephanie was surprised when he throw her hand and run behind her. She turned and saw that he was talking to the fishes that were on the floor, out of breath. "Sorry, sorry! I'll help you go back to the water!" She found it weird because he was talking to a fish. But she understands because many people talk to their animals like dogs, cats, and other pets. Maybe he's like one of them. She blinked but before she even says anything, she saw the man throw the fish in the sewer which again shocked her. Yeah, there is water in the sewer but it's not clean!
"Hey! What are you doing to my fishes! There are for sale!" the owner exclaimed when the guy finished freeing the sea animals. The guy's name was Hariel, right? Uncommon name and She thinks that it suits this guy but anyway, the owner looked at Hariel angrily. "How can you compensate me to the fishes you freed!"
"The fishes are the creatures of the sea and they don't belong to this tight- whatever that is! they are free creatures!" Hariel said and crossed his arms. The owner got angrier at his answer.
"Whatever! I need money! Give me the money that I lose because of your action!" Hariel was startled when the owner asked for money. He looked down and fidget with his hands. It was interesting to see Hariel like this it's like a fresh breath of air.
"I don't have... money with me," Hariel said honestly. Stephanie walked to her car and take out her purse. She went to the two and paid the owner for Hariel.
"Here, since Hariel doesn't have money, I will pay for it." Hariel looked at her shocked he was about to say something but I stopped him. "It's just a small compensation compared to what you've done for me." Hariel blinked and nodded. The owner was soo shocked and pursed his lips before leaving.
"I'm sorry- that you need to do that. Don't worry, I will give you the money back. How much is it?" Stephanie smiled and shakes her head.
"No need. I don't know what happened and how I didn't crash into the wall but at least you're here, and why do I feel like you saved me again?" Stephanie said. Hariel smiled and scratch the back of his head shyly.
"Well, I don't want to see you hurt." Then they heard a siren of the police. Someone reported the accident and they asked what happened. They went to the police station to report everything that happened. First, the car that bumped her car and then the almost crashing of her car. It's fortunate that there is a CCTV camera on the part that they were. They saw what happened and they will come back to her when they found out who was the owner of the car. Stephanie and Hariel went out of the Police station at almost dawn. She saw Hariel yawn and Stephanie's heart warmed. Hariel was still with her and didn't leave her. Why does she feel like she's secure when this person was with her?
"Sorry if I drag you to my mess," Stephanie said. Hariel shook his head and waved his hands.
"It's no trouble, don't worry. I am happy just to be there for you," Hariel said with a sheepish smile. Stephanie laughs.
"Okay, if it's that what you want. Are you hungry? I'll treat you." Hariel blinked and shakes his head.
"You've done enough for me. You also paid for the fish that I freed. That is enough," Hariel said with a smile on his face. Stephanie sighed and nodded.
"Then let me drive you home," Stephanie suggested. Hariel closed his lips and looked around nervously.
"Now that you mentioned it, I think I'm lost. I don't know where I am." Stephanie looked at him confused. Is he not familiar with the place?
"Are you new to this city?" Hariel looked at her and sighed before looking down, it seems like he's shy to admit but then he nodded.
"Yes, I am new to this place. I stayed with my friend while I look for a Job," Hariel answered. Stephanie nodded and looked down. Thinking if she can offer him a Job. But she doesn't know if he was skilled enough. Maybe an opening can help him. "It's okay, you don't need to... Take me home. I will just try to contact my friend."
"Oh, you don't have a phone?" Stephanie asked. Who doesn't have a phone at this time? Hariel looked at her confused.
"What is a phone?" Stephanie's eyes widened. Is he serious? He doesn't know what a phone is? Where did this guy come from? In to the jungle?
"Well, It's a communication device that you can easily contact someone. Are you sure you don't know what phone means?" Hariel shakes his head.
"Is that the same thing as a Conch Shellphie?" Stephanie blinked and looked at her confused. What did he say? Conch Shellphie? What is that? Is that a new brand of phone? Hariel shook his head and nervously laugh. "Nevermind. Don't mind what I said. Hehe. I got to go, see you when I see you! Later!" Then Hariel runs off but the way he runs is different from other people. He was stumbling on his feet like he's not been used to walking or running for a long time. But wait! She forgot how can she help him. Without his phone number, how is she going to contact him? She looked to where Hariel run off to and just sighed. Maybe they will pass by each other one of these days. Hopefully.
Hariel manages to find his friend's house. Actually, this friend was a former friend in the ocean. This person is once a merman and now living on the surface. Hariel saw that friend on the couch watching whatever on the box thingy that they call television."So, did you manage to find the woman you've been looking for?" Milo asked with a smile on his face. Hariel looked at him and sighed. He went to the sink which Milo called and he opened it to drink water and poured some on his head."Yeah, I did! I managed to save her in time before she crash on the stone wall." Milo sat down and looked at Hariel."Did you use your powers?" Hariel looked at him and nodded. Milo stood up and walked towards him and hold his shoulders before shaking him. Hariel wondered why his friends always do this to him? "Why did you do that? What if someone saw you using your powers! They might think you're an Alien!""Calm your seahorses, Milo! You're shaking my head so bad!" Milo stopped and looked at his frien
Hariel and Milo are studying. Hariel was easy to teach and to learn so Milo didn't had a hard time teaching him a lot of things. Also, Hariel is fond of knowing new things due to his curious nature."Milo, do you know what a cell phone is?" Hariel asked while writing his name on a paper then he looked at Milo. The latter looked at him while using the said item. He smiled and raised the phone in his hand."This is the thing you're asking. Of course, my prince. I know how to use it," Milo answered with a smile on his face. Hariel looked at the phone and nodded. Milo furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Hariel curiously. Does he have something he wants to say? "Is there something wrong?""No, nothing is wrong! It's just that, pretty lady was asking me for contact before but I don't know what it is. Then, I blurted out about the Shellphie," shock was evident on Milo's face. He looked around and neared his face to Hariel."Prince, you can't just talk about those things here! Or the merpeopl
Stephanie frowned when she saw her ex-fiancée. She can still remember the pain these two people in front of her brought her. Her face turned cold and her hands clenched. Hariel noticed it and looked at her full of concern. He glared at the two people. The woman has a smug look on her face as if she won. She hugged the arm of the man who came toward them.“Babe, look! I saw my cousin on my way out!” Janessa said with a full smile on her face. The man looked at them and gave them a gentle smile.“It’s been a while, Stephanie.” Stephanie nodded and crossed her arms. She gave them a small smile.“Yes, it’s been a while.” Hariel studied the man. He’s handsome and has this gentle aura surrounding him like he’s not the kind of person who will cheat but instead the person who will be cheated on. His looks are gentle and kind as if he’s not going to raise a hand to a woman. But they say, looks can be deceiving.“It seems that they are not the usual people you always hang out with other than Be
"You know you almost divulged our existence!" Milo scolded Hariel when they got home. Hariel scratch the back of his head and sighed."Okay, I am sorry! I didn't mean to do that!" Hariel pouted and crossed his arms and sat down on the sofa. Milo went to the frige and get a soda. He looked at Hariel and scratch the back pf his head. "I still can't believe that you met that Stephanie." Milo sighed. He's really baffled when he found out that the famous Stephanie Gray was the one he saved. He's curious how Hariel manage to meet that Stephanie. Hariel smiled to him."Isn't she pretty?" Hariel asked like a fan. Milo looked at him weirdly and shook his head."Yeah she does. I still can't believe that the famous Stephanie Gray was the person you saved," Milo said with a sigh. Hariel was in the clouds since he saw her again. He really wanted to see her always but of course, his royal status is not applicable to the land, only the ocean."I will be there for her if she needs me," Hariel declar

Stephanie stirred in her sleep. She had a dreamless sleep. She felt heavy and aching. What happened to her? She opened her eyes but she was blinded by the light and white ceiling. Where is she?"Steph! You're awake!" She heard her secretary's voice so she turned to her side and saw Becky, crying. She blinked a few times and sighed deeply."Why are you crying?" Becky cried hard more. Becky is her secretary and her bestfriend. Maybe something happ- wait! There something happened to her! She was pushed down to the ocean while taking a break."You've been sleeping for three days. I got really worried!" Becky hugged her tight and sniffed. But Stephanie asked her how did they find her."I've been looking everywhere for you. "Hariel! Where are you going? This is not the path towards our home!" Farron said and looked around. They are in the deepest part of the ocean near the Atlanta Kingdom, where their home is. Atlanta was the merpeople's home and where the mermaid live. But Hariel went to the deepest part where merpeople cannot or are forbidden to visit. "I need to visit someone," Hariel said and swim faster. Farron followed Hariel. He wanted to stop Hariel from doing things that might hurt him so he tried to stop him by holding Hariel's tail. Hariel turned to look at Farron, annoyed. "Why are you stopping me, Farron? If you want you can go home!""You know I can't do that! Also, stop doing these things! You know that visiting the Merman Sorceror is forbidden!" Hariel Sighed and faced Farron."But he's the only one who can help me," Hariel said and sighed and remove Farron's hand on his tail.
