He suddenly erupted in laughter, jolting the men behind him as they jerked out of their shock. The greed on their faces was immediately wiped off but they glanced around considering the offer.

“You're just like the old man,” he wiped his tears off his eyes. “Buy these men for that price? Don't be ridiculous, Oliver. That's a waste of good money. They'd wag to anything and I'm already their saviour.”

I dug my hands in my pants as I shrugged, “Well it was worth a short. The cheque has already been signed and written. All that's left is to be cashed. Grandfather wouldn't care who it's given to-”

“Nice try, Oliver but these ones pledge their loyalty to me. Even a dog knows not to bite its owner,” he waved off in a scornful tone.

“Are you sure about that?” I took a step closer, noticing how they flinched and aimed their weapons again, causing me to stop.
