OLIVER

She didn't say a word to me and I didn't push. I allowed her the space she needed, watched her run up the stairs and heard the door slam shut. The silence of the living room echoed back at me while I was left all alone to deal with the crappy feeling that came with her attitude.

Did I push her too far or too much? Did I overstep and didn't know when to stop?

Did I overreact? Yes. But did I have a reason for that? Yes, in fact, I had tons of reasons that were valid and shocking at the same time.

What are you doing, Oliver? Just what the heck was I doing this time?

I had never felt so lost, confused and at a crossroad before. She always managed to bring out such strong emotions and man! They wrecked and messed with my brain.

I remembered the first few weeks we got together, her eyes were shy and calm, fascinated by me and my sudden interest in her. She was amazed how I could switch to a caring lover for the camera and keep a straight face on the way home.
