Sienna POV

Different questions ran through my mind. I couldn’t understand how Daphne and Lucas crossed paths. But one thing I knew was that my anger was more visible towards Lucas. I hate him so much. I abhorred him so much.

Lucas gazed tore away from me all of a sudden, and they rested on Daphne.

He seemed to say some words to Daphne, and he quietly grabbed her by her hands. My brows snapped together furiously, and I was totally annoyed.

“I said, Let go of her now!” I didn’t know when I screamed so loud.

I stomped angrily towards him, ignoring the loud echoes of my footsteps on the marble floor.

Daphne's eyes were fixed on me, and I could see the little fear in her. She seemed a little scared of me, and I hated that, especially seeing how close she was to Lucas, whom she had probably just met. Had I really been a bad mother to her?

“Mom.. “ Daphne called out.

Hearing that Lucas looked completely flustered and shocked. He immediately took a glance back at Daphne.

“Mom?”
