“Zachary, don’t do this.”

Charlotte had pretty much used all of her strength to wiggle away from Zachary’s embrace.

Zachary still wanted to hold her.

“I’ve been thinking of you every moment of the day over the past four years, but for the sake of your safety, I can’t force Lory into a divorce for now. Now, if we’re going to be together, we’ll have to be lovers.”

“That’s not true…”

Charlotte curled her lips, smiling despite her tears. “We could just be friends for now.”
