“Oh, my God! That is great news. So he was kidnapped, then? That’s crazy as hell. How can that happen in a big city like this?” Ava asked, coming to sit by him to watch what was being shown on the television.

“It beats me, especially because of Derek’s wealth. Makes me realize that I had better beef up security around me. We live in crazy times.
