Finally A Happy Beginning.

At the bustling house party, filled with music and laughter, Elena anxiously walks through the crowd, her glasses perched on her nose, following Bobby's directions to find Jason.

She spots Jason engaged in conversation with a group of his close friends and takes a deep breath as she steadily approaches him.

As she gets closer, Elena gently taps him on the shoulder, since his back is turned towards her.

"Hi, Jason! It's me, Elena,"

she introduces herself, trying to hide her nervousness but still failed at it.

Jason turns around, an expression of slight surprise on his face.

" Hey, Elena! Wow, you made it! It's great to see you here, I was starting to think you wouldn't show up after having trouble deciding, well, Thank you for accepting my invitation, How has your night been?"

Elena blushes slightly, adjusting her glasses.

"It's going well, thank you, I'm really excited to be here, The party looks amazing!"

Elena tells a little white lie, not wanting to hurt Jason's feelings, Deep down, she knows she's not much of a party person and prefers indoor activities, but still yet Jason smiles warmly at her.

"I'm glad you think so, cause I did helped organize it and I have to admit, when I did invite you, it was a spontaneous decision, I wasn't expecting someone as intelligent as you to show up,"

Jason said, as he playfully bumped his shoulder against hers.

"Well, I may wear glasses, but that doesn't define me, Plus, I have a network of friends who keep me up to date on the latest events, And, well, your reputation precedes you, Jason, You're kind of a legend around here, if you ask me,"

Elena replies, mixing in truth and lies, She just doesn't want to be left out or seen as a strange woman by Jason.

"A legend, huh? I'm flattered! But hey, I'm just trying to have a good time and make new friends, Speaking of which, I'm glad you decided to come, I thought it'd be nice to have some new faces around,"

Jason says, putting Elena at ease with his friendly demeanor.

"That's really sweet of you, Jason, I must say I admire your outgoing nature, It's impressive how you effortlessly connect with most people,"

Elena says, complimenting Jason while revealing a bit of her own feelings.

"Thank you, Elena,"

Jason replied with a smug smirk forming on his lips

"It's not always easy, but I believe in the power of kindness and making others feel included."

Curious to learn more about Jason, Elena asked,

"Okay, so tell me something about you, Jason? What are you passionate about?"

"Well, I enjoy playing sports, especially soccer, That's probably why I'm the captain,"

Jason replied in a joking slightly boasting of how he was the captain of the soccer team

As the party went on, Elena had a great time with Jason, He kept her company, making her laugh with his jokes, even when he made bad ones she still laughed.

He introduced her to his group of friends, making her feel welcome and included.

When it was around 10 pm, Elena started feeling tired and eager to go home.

Jason, acting all kind, offered to drive her home on his motorcycle, and she gladly accepted.

On their way, Elena directed Jason to drop her by a tree, asking him to be as quiet as possible.

At first, Jason wondered why she wanted to do something like that, But when he saw her pulling off her shoes and climbing the tree, he burst into laughter, holding his stomach.

The scene was so funny to him, and while he laughed, Elena quickly climbed through her window from the tree branch, waving goodbye to him.

He laughed heartily even though she had asked he not to make noise, he waved back one final time before driving back to the party.

On his way back, Jason reflected on the fact that Elena's family wasn't wealthy, despite the assumptions he had already made before.

Though He had heard that she entered through a scholarship, but he had expected her to come from a well-off background.

He realized that he needed to lower his standards and not judge people based on their circumstances.

Not everyone was born into wealth, and attending a prestigious college didn't necessarily mean coming from a wealthy family.

Despite these thoughts, all he could think about was Elena, she wasn't his usual type, and he didn't necessarily have romantic feelings for her, but he genuinely enjoyed being around her.

She brought him a kind of happiness he hadn't felt in a while, and he realized it might be time for him to visit his family soon and spend some time with them.

While Jason's mind was occupied with these thoughts, Elena's excitement overflowed.

She couldn't contain her joy as she jumped around on her bed, singing a girly, childish song.

She couldn't help but feel happy, First of all, she had bumped into her childhood bully and mustered up the courage to confront her fears head-on, even though things didn't go as expected.

But despite that, she still found happiness when Felicia expressed her willingness to let bygones be bygones.

However, her happiness was short-lived when she encountered Mark, who remained the same old person.

Then, she received an invitation to a party where she had the opportunity to meet new friends and spend time with the guy she found herself falling for.

Although there is still some lingering tension between her and Felicia, who unexpectedly showed up at the party to confront her, she believes that as long as she has her new set of friends and Jason, everything will be more than okay.
