Chapter Five

Tala…

When Tala got home, her best friend was waiting for her, with a funny look on his face. She could see in his eyes that he had something he really needed to tell her, but no one else can know. He always had this strange look in his eyes, Tala came to know that look so well over the years, as there are many secrets that the two of them share.

She grabbed a snack from the kitchen table, and they headed out to the open field, far away from everyone else. It almost felt to Tala that everyone in her father’s pack were against her, expect her mother and her best friend. But then again, all their pack members are very scared of her father, for more reasons than one. Tala knew it was not out of respect, but fear that they were still in this pack.

“Tala, are you ready for tonight?”  Dolph asked with anticipation, almost biting his lip, waiting for Tala to answer.

“I am not sure Dolph, it’s a big risk. What if they want to hurt us, or has something against the pack and want revenge on my father…? You know what kind of wolf he is.” Tala felt a knot in her stomach, knowing there is something unknown, waiting for her. She knew she will never let her best friend go alone though.

“I am almost sure that is not their intentions. We will never know if we don’t take the chance Tala. And be honest, what have you got to lose? What can be worst than how you are living now?”

“That is true, but still Dolph.” Tala fell silent for a while and thought about what Dolph just said. It was true, what does she have to lose? Nothing can be worst than how she is living now, and what her future was holding, what her father had in store for her, promising her to Hemming…

“Ok, you know what. Let’s do it.” Tala decided to take a chance on the unknown and see what happens.

“You are serious, you will go with me tonight?” Dolph could feel the excitement growing inside him.

“Yes, I will go with you. What ever happens, must happen. I am doomed either way.”

“Don’t say that Tala. You never know what the night might hold…” Dolph said with a mischievous tone in his voice.

Tala could not help but laugh at her best friend. She knew, she will be safe with Dolph, and he will protect her with his life, should it come to that. Tala could feel somewhere deep in an unknown excitement grow. Just WHAT IF… She knew better than to dream and hope, but she just could not help herself.

She and Dolph decided to go for a long run and then go home. They needed to rest a bit before tonight, as they had a plan on how to sneak out at night so that no one will notice them.

Tala felt herself being free when she shifted, and her wolf got excited, more than usual. Almost as if her wolf knew something that she didn’t. Tala felt nervous and excited all at the same time…

Conri…

Conri spend the rest of the day going over some paperwork and doing some filing after their meetings. He could not stop thinking about tonight. He felt the excitement grow and his wolf getting very restless, knowing he might see HER again tonight.

While Conri was signing some last papers, there was a knock on his door.

“Come in.” Conri said, almost distracted and he looked up to see Sheila opening the door.

“Hi Conri, can we please talk?” Sheila said in her sweetest voice, but Conri could hear she was nervous.

“Yes sure, what is it, Sheila?” Conri lifted an eyebrow, as Sheila was never nervous.

“I want to talk about, us…” And her voice trailed off.

“There is no ‘us’ Sheila. And you know that. Yes, we do have great sex, and I enjoy that, but that is all that it is. We have had this conversation already. Why do you do this to yourself?” Conri tried to sound stern, trying to make sure she gets the message.

“That can not be true Conri, we have had a sexual relationship for almost 2 years! I have falling very deeply in love with you, and I am sure you have feelings for me as well. I am ready to take the place next to your side as Luna. Please, give me a chance. I know I am ready, and I know I can make you proud.” Sheila almost pleaded. She walked over to him and turned his chair around. She pulled up her skirt and went to sit on his lap, her legs spread. She shifted a little on his lap and she could feel him react, almost immediately. She started kissing him in his neck and she heard his grown. She loved we way he always reacted to her touch.  

Conri had so much tension build up the last few day, that maybe a little bit of release will do him good before tonight. And all Sheila was, was sex.

He pulled her down harder on him and he pulled her head back, opening her neck for his kisses. She reacted to him immediately and gave herself over. He pulled of her blouse and unclipped her bra, her full breast loose and he had full access to her nipples. He sucked on each one, taking his time and feeling how they hardened, and he could hear Sheila moaning. He always liked the way she reacted to his touch. He felt himself getting harder and picked her up. He put her down on his big desk and took of her skirt and panty. She was totally naked now and she really did have a gorgeous body.

He took his time kissing her and she laid back. He opened her legs, and he could smell her arousal. He played with her, feeling her wetness with his fingers, and then started sucking her. She moved under him, whispering his name, asking him to never stop. He took her to a climax and she exploded, Conri wanted release himself and took of his pants. He entered her with a thrust, and he leaned deeper into her. He could feel Sheila’s long sexy legs wrap around him and pull him closer. He pushed harder and harder and could feel himself getting close to a climax. He pushed harder and deeper and while inside her, all he could think about was HER… He came inside her and pulled out almost immediately.

He pulled up his pants and turned around, looking out the window. It didn’t feel half as good as always… And he frowned.

“Is everything ok, what is wrong Conri?” Sheila got up from his desk and started getting dress. She came up behind him and wrapped her slender arms around him. Conri moved away from her and turned around to face her.

“I think you should leave now Sheila.”

“What? But we just… What is going on with you Conri?” Sheila felt offended and put her arms in front of her, almost feeling self-conscious.

“I am sorry, but this was a mistake. I have other things on my mind. Please Sheila, I need to be alone.”

“Conri, please stop pushing me away! You know there is something between us!” Sheila could feel herself getting very emotional.

“Sheila, listen to me. You knew from the beginning; it was only sex. I told you that many times over. If you started to get feelings for me, I am sorry. But you always knew where you stood with me.”

“Conri, please.” Sheila almost pleaded and tried to take a step closer to him.

“Sheila…” Conri warned, speaking in his Alpha tone.

“Yes, Alpha.” Sheila turned around and walked out of the office, without saying another word.

Conri turned around and looked out of his big office window, overlooking his estate. He knew he had to stop this with Sheila, for more than one reason. She was starting to fall in love with him and he could not have that. He felt nothing towards her, and he didn’t want to hurt her anymore.

It was getting dark outside, and he felt hungry. He needed to eat and get his strength together for tonight. They had to be prepared for what anything…

Conri went downstairs and as always, Evelina made sure there were more than enough food. He dished himself a big plate and sat at the table. His house was quite tonight, more than usual and he frowned. Usually it wouldn’t bother him, but tonight it did. He felt lonely, even though he was surrounded by his pack, he felt alone. He finished his meal and went upstairs to shower. As he got to his room, he looked around and it felt empty. He had the best furniture, and his room was very well designed. He had all the money in the world, more than he could ever spend, he had everything money could buy, and yet, he was not happy. It was as if his life needed more meaning since he met HER…

His pack meant the world to him, and that was always enough, but the last day or two, he needed more in life. He wanted, needed her…

He walked into his bathroom and opened the shower taps. His mind started drifting as the water run over his sweaty body. He tried to wash the smell of Sheila off, what happened this afternoon was a mistake, for more than one reason. He had a very good sexual appetite, but Sheila is not enough anymore.

He closed his eyes, and he could see her in front of him again. That perfect young body, those small hands, those piercing blue eyes. She would make beautiful pups… His pups… 

He stood there for a while, imagining what she would feel like, what she would taste like. And again, just the thought of her gave him an erection. He quickly showered and closed the water. He got out and got dressed.

He looked at the time and it was almost eight thirty. He needed to start getting ready and go meet his Beta.

As Conri walked out of his house, he saw a few pack members still walking around, chatting, and there stood Sheila, almost looking lost. Their eyes met and he could see that she has been crying. He felt bad, and decided to go and talk to her, but as he got close, she turned around and walked away. Conri felt it there and went to go and look for Marcus.

Marcus and twelve of their strongest and best fighters in the pack were waiting for him at the tree line.

“Evening Alpha.” Marcus always addressed his best friend as the Alpha when other pack members were around.

“Evening and thank you all for coming. It means a lot to know that you will stand by me, not knowing at all what might be waiting for us.” Conri spoke in his Alpha tone and made sure his pack members knew how proud and honoured he was.

“We would protect you with our lies, no matter what Alpha.” And all of them agreed.

Conri looked around and knew he would be safe. Some of these pack members was almost bigger than him and Marcus were. He really did have a strong pack and as they would give up their lives to protect him, so would he.

“Are you all ready? Marcus did explain where we are going and what might happen? We need to be prepared for anything.”

“Yes Alpha. And we are ready.”

“Great and thank you. Now let’s go.” Conri took the lead, Marcus following close behind him as they all walked to the tree line, getting ready to shift.

Conri undressed and felt his wolf take over, he let himself go and shifted. He shook his pitch-black wolf fur and felt proud. He was a big wolf and he always felt invincible when his wolf was in control. He looked around and saw the other pack members all have shifted and they started running towards the border.

They reached their border line, and all shifted back, Marcus made sure there were a set of clothes for everyone and Conri thanked him for always being so prepared. The started making their way to the abandoned warehouse, walking in silence, and hiding behind every bush and tree, making sure that they could not be seen, should any wolf of the Shadow Pack be patrolling. Conri was se caught up in his own thoughts, that he startled when Marcus put his hand against his chest to stop him from going forward. In front of them was the old, abandoned building.

They all found a spot to hide, and then waited…

Tala…

Tala went to bed early that night, excusing herself from the table and that raised a question mark from her father.

“Where are you going, dinner is not finished yet.”

“I am tired, can I please go to bed.” Tala did not dare look at her father as she already knew what his face would look like.

“Let her go, please.” Her mother pleaded.

“Shut up woman, who told you you could speak.” Her father almost spat at her mother.

Tala bit her tongue; she was getting very tired of the way her father spoke to her mother. But what can she do? She was much smaller than him and she knew all to well how hard he can hit. She looked at her mother and she could see her mother’s pleading eyes, shaking her head as if to tell Tala not to say anything. She looked down at her plate, keeping her mouth shut.

There was a long silence and eventually her father said she can go. Tala got up quickly, before he could change his mind. She went to take a shower and got dressed in a jean and sweater. She wanted to be ready to slip out later, without making too much noise. She went to go climbed in bed and tried to sleep.

But all she could do was toss and turn and eventually gave up on the idea of sleep. She laid awake and staired at the ceiling. The closer 11 o’clock came, the more nervous she got. So many questions run through her mind. What is this was a mistake, what if they are walking into a trap, what if…

Tala closed her eyes and took a deep breath; she can do this! What does she have to lose anyway? Absolutely nothing…

It was just before eleven and she could hear the house was quiet. She knew her father and mother almost always went to bed early unless her father had some Alpha business to attend to. Her sister liked watching tv until late, but tonight she went out. Tala has not heard her come in and she knew she was going to have to be very careful.

She opened her door very slowly, as it almost always creaked, and she did not want make any noise that might wake her father and her mother. She walked slowly down the steps, making sure to skip the once that also creaked. She walked softly to the back door, and noticed her sister on the couch, she frowned as she did not remember hearing her come in. She bent down behind the kitchen counter to make sure her sister did not see her. She made it to the back door and lucky for her, her sister must have left it open when she came back home. Tala slipped outside and let out her breath that she was holding.

Her eyes adjusted immediately to the darkness and thanked her inner wolf. She might not have much going for her at this stage in her life, but she will always have her wolf. She could feel her stomach turning, as she was very close to the unknown, and she just closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She walked to the spot were Dolph was waiting for her, making sure no one sees her. She did not feel like explaining to her father why she was sneaking out…

Dolph was hiding in the shadows, waiting for Tala. She could almost hear him sigh a sigh of relieve when he saw her.

She smiled at him and winked. She felt herself confidence grow as she walked over to him. This was now or never, what ever must happen, must happen.

They sneaked out further from the camp, making sure to cross any off the areas that they knew would have wolves patrolling. They took the long way to the abandoned building and the closer they got; the more Tala could feel herself tensing up again. It almost felt like her emotions were on a roller coaster, not sure what to feel…

They eventually got to the building, and Dolph took the lead. He scanned the area and immediately picked up the strange smell. He knew they were here, and he could feel the relieve wash over him. He looked at Tala and gave her a small smile and a wink. He could see the nervous look on her face, but he gave her hand a reassuring squeeze.

And then they saw two men coming out from the shadows, and Dolph swallowed hard, really hoping he did not make a mistake.

The mand walking in front must be Marcus, the Beta, and close behind him, the infamous Conri, Alpha of the Blue Moon pack…

Conri…

They were hiding behind the building, making sure they stay in the shadows, out of sight. When suddenly, he could smell HER… That sweet, sweet smell, he closed his eyes and breathed her in. His inner wolf started to get excited, and he knew she was close by.

He looked around, and then he saw her. His eyes locked on her, and he could see she was very nervous. He looked her up and down and she looked so fragile, yet fierce. There was something different about her. He needed to get to know her, he wanted her, in more ways than one…

He stood up and he felt Marcus’s hand on his chest. He let his Beta take the lead and they started walking over to them. The rest of his pack members stayed behind and on high alert, keeping watch.

He did not take is his eyes of her for a second, and he walked straight over to her. She took a step back and just stared at him.

“I am glad you came; I didn’t know what to expect and I was not sure who you were. You are the Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack?” Dolph spoke first, breaking the silence.

“Yes, I am.” Was all that Conri said, his eyes not leaving her, almost afraid that she might disappear.

“I have to ask, why are you here and why take the chance coming into our territory?”

“Because of her.” Conri took another step closer to Tala and then Dolph stepped in front of him.

“I have the fullest respect for you Alpha Conri, but this is my territory, and Tala is my responsibility. So please.” Dolph raised his head in confidence.

“It’s ok Dolph” This was the first time Tala spoke, her eyes still looking Conri up and down.

Dolph stepped aside and watched as Conri took another step closer to Tala, reaching out his hand and twirling her hair around his finger.

“I am glad to see you don’t have another blue eye.” Conri stroked his hand down her bare arms, and he could feel the goosebumps and she shivered. He could smell her arousal and he felt himself getting hard. Her skin was as soft as satin. He wanted to take her right here, right now!

Conri closed his eyes and took a deep breath to calm himself, the effect she has on him…!

Tala…

She stood frozen on the spot, and her skin burned everywhere his fingers touched her. She had this strange feeling down below and could feel herself getting wet. What was happening…? She was not sure how to handle this and she felt herself blushing and looked away, biting her bottom lip.

His strong fingers reached up and pulled her face back towards him so that she was looking at him again. His finger stroked over her mouth and her lips, and she opened them slightly.

He was so tall, muscular and he towered over her and yet she felt safe. Almost like she could trust him, but her gut told her to be careful. This was all too much, way to soon.

“Why are you here? And what can we help you with?” Tala found her voice and she tried to sound confident.

“Because of you little girl.” Came Conri’s deep silky voice.

“Because of me? I don’t understand.” Tala frowned.

Conri dropped his hand from her face and immediately Tala felt cold, alone. She wanted him to touch her again…

“We need to go. But next time, I want you alone.”

“Ok” Was all that Tala could get out, swallowing hard. She bit her bottom lip again and she could see a flicker in his eyes. She wanted to be alone with him, the way he made her feel, she wanted more…

Conri…

Conri turned around and knew they could not be here to long. The longer they stay, the more dangerous it gets, for him and his pack members.

“Tomorrow night, same time, same place. And don’t be late.” Conri leaned in and smelled her scent. It overwhelmed him and it took all his will power to turn around and walk away.

Marcus and the rest of his pack followed, and they left silently. All the way back home, Conri could not stop thinking about how her skin felt. So smooth, so young. She was a virgin and he liked that about her. She will be HIS, and only HIS.

He will have her, no matter what…
