CHAPTER FOUR

2024-10-29 19:42:56Naya had always found it ridiculous to believe that she truly had power in her because no matter
how hard she tried to make use of any of her power, it had always proved abortive and in some
cases, she had hurt herself.
She gave up on believing she had power because she doesn't know if she has a mate to talk
more of embarking on the journey of finding him which she knows is impossible.
Werewolves recognize their mates with their unique powers and it is how powerful you are that
will determine how early they are going to meet their mate in the clan.
People that have power are yet to find their more of her that didn't have any at all. She is
definitely going to wait forever.
Naya was still walking and thinking about what just happened when she felt a cold hand cover
her eyes from the back.
A big smile formed on her face as she recognized the bearer of the hand as her best friend
(enola). The two have been friends since they were kids.
"Enola, I know is you," she said with a big smile removing her hand from her face.
"How did you know it was me?" The young beautiful girl demanded standing in front of her.
Enola is endowed with a beautiful shape that always turns heads wherever she is going.
Though she is not as beautiful as Naya, her perfectly carved shape is enough to drive a man's
complete sense out of their sockets.
"Why won't I recognize my friend's hand, I can recognize every part of your body even in a dark
room full of thousands of women," naya replied confidently.
"Even my ass," enola asked, shaking her big ass.
"No, your finger, foolish girl," Naya joked.
The duo shared a short laugh as they started walking towards the market together.
"Where are you going? Or should I say, where does that woman send you to?" Enola teased.
Naya rolled her eyes at the way she squeezed her face.
"I'm going to the market," Naya replied.
"Okay, I'm already tagging along," enola replied sharply.
"You are not scared, I might just decide to sell you off there at the market," Naya questioned
with a giggled.
"You can, I trust you more than my life," enola replied.
She hung her arm round Naya's neck and Naya smiled wider.
They got to the market and they both head to where Naya always buys their foodstuffs from.
She already got herself a customer in the market.
The woman's face lightened up the moment she saw Naya because she knew she was going to
make some good sales. Apart from being her customer that always patronizes her, Naya is
lucky, she always sells all her goods the day Naya steps foot into her shop. That is why she
always looks forward to when Naya will come to patronize her.
"Customer, I will treat you well for more than a week today," the woman grinned.
"Thank you ma'am, I'm honored," Naya bowed respectfully.
She handed the list of what she wanted to buy to the woman. The woman flashed her a smile
before going into her shop to get everything on her list.
Naya and enola stayed outside the shop looking around the market.
"I wish I had some money, I would have bought that bracelet, it's so beautiful!" Enola giggled.
"Too bad, I don't have money too," Naya muttered sadly wishing she could get it for her friend.
"Oh please, don't ruin my mood with your never ending pity. Let me just imagine myself wearing
it and assume you got it for me and present it to me like this… she paused as she dramatized
how Naya would go on her knees to present the bracelet to her.
"I'm presenting a bracelet not asking you to be my wife," Naya muttered giggling.
"Even if you ask me I would have said no if you were a guy," enola scoffed.
"You dare not, you won't be able to resist my handsome face," Naya bragged.
"And you won't be able to resist my honey ass," enola replied, shaking her ass.
"Enola!" Naya called, squeezing up her face.
Enola faced her and they both burst into laughter.
They kept checking everything out and teasing each other when they suddenly heard a scream.
They both turned to each other at the same time as if to ask themselves if they heard the sound.
"The Alpha is here!" Another voice yelled.
The footsteps of people running and rushing was what followed.
"Naya, let's go and take a look," enola said to Naya.
"No, I'm not interested," Naya rejected.
"Please," enola blinked cutely.
"Enola, please is nothing, there is nothing interesting to watch about that man. We didn't know if
he is handsome, he will always put on a face mask.
"I know, but just to take a peak, I just wanna see his clothes please," enola begged.
Enola grabbed her hand and started pulling Naya with her towards the spot where the louder
noise is coming true.
They got to the scene but the Alpha has been surrounded by the people of the land as they
shower him with appreciation whilst some lay complaints.
A woman was seen narrating the story of how she and her children have been trying to survive
due to the hardship.
After the woman's story, the Alpha gave her a lot of money and the woman was so happy as
she happily left the place
"Enola, let's go already," Naya muttered.
"Please, let's wait small," enola begged, blinking cutely.
"You know… Naya was still saying when a lady pushed her out of the way so she could stand in
her spot.
The fall was painful and Naya hurt her palm.
She tried to stand up when another push her from the spot, another also pushed and soon she was inside the circle. A guy gagged her and the lady pushed her and she entered the circle.
Naya was unaware of the fact that she was already standing in front of the Alpha as she dusted her dress.
Everyone kept staring at her in awe wondering if she was aware or not.

PALACE**Night**Alpha Rohan was stressed after returning from a meeting at the other pack.
