Shortly after Apollo left me Kodi forced me to shift. She lays our huge body on our bed and begins to pant as if she’s run around a bunch today.
She closes our eyes and I gasp as I can hear Loki’s voice in my head: Kodi, Kodi, are you there?
She responds eagerly: I’m here.
We’re going to get you out of there. I promise. I won’t let you get caged up again.
Kodi whimpers in response and I can’t help but wonder what he meant by ‘again’. He pushes an image in my head of this creature that has these weird things on her back. She looks beautiful though. Loki’s voice enters my head again: This is Genevieve. She’s my mate and she’s a fairy. She is going to come help you get to safety.
Kodi chuckles: You seem happy.
